Leah has run with the same girls since she could remember. Now entering into their senior year of high school, boys will become a distraction, lines will be crossed and friendships will be tested. Betrayal becomes inevitable, leaving Leah wondering is there really love without betrayal.
This book took you through the trials of being young and not accepting things that are right in your face. Holding on to anything that you know in your heart won’t work is stressful for anyone. I hope book 2 shows the growth and responsibility we expect to see from young adults.
Great debut! Whew if this isn’t a cautionary tale on how everything that glitters isn’t gold. So many times I wanted to yell at Leah to get out while she can but she was the victim. I love NuNu and Tyson and I hope everything works out. Marcus can die tbh. What happened to Mandy was crazy and I wonder how that’s going to play out in part 2. I can’t wait.
First of all the music in this book took me back to 7th and 8th grade. Suppperrrr nostalgic. Tyson is that guy mmkay!!!!! I have never in my life hated a character as much as I hate Marcus. I loathe him! 🙄🙄
Whew Chile!!!! NuNu and Leah stay fighting for each other and I love it lol.
This book was a great read! I would recommend all Young women to read it. The dating phase can fun and exhilarating for some while it can be traumatic for others. This book takes you on a great ride with young love and unhealthy relationships.
Marcus is a Dick. Wow he literally does not deserve Leah at all. But I love me some Tyson. He is so good to NuNu and Leah for that matter. I enjoyed the book but based on events towards the end of the book, I think I know what book two will be about But none the less I am looking forward to it.
I know 1thing Leah needs to get it all the way together. NuNu seem like she got the better end of the stick but I think Ty a lil too perfect to be true.I'll see in 2
