Still loving this series! Five volumes in, though, and I can't think of much to say that I haven't in previous reviews. There's no ongoing plot, just a situation and characters. Jesus and Buddha are roommates living in modern day Japan. Figures associated with both religions show up as supporting cast members from time to time. Despite the humor, this manga is actually fairly respectful of both religions. Hikaru Nakamura seems capable of endless riffs on this basic premise without it becoming stale or repetitive. Highly recommended!

A Momotaro adaptation, a run in with Lucifer at Setsubun, new phones, and burnout. I feel you, Ananda.

But the tenth volume got me. It started off a bit sacrilegious with the bit about Cain and Abel (don't use this joke in front of Baptists, it won't go over well) but had me snorting by the time God sent down Michael with Tupperware. We also get to spend more time with the other angels, the disciples, and the holy mother!

This omnibus contains volumes 9-10.

This rating is for the series as a whole: starts off very strong but jokes get dry by the end of book 4.
