Learn how to love yourself with help from this book.

The author helps us to understand how our childhood influence the way we think, act, treat others, and treat ourselves. Rough, abusive, and harsh childhoods usually manifest in many negative ways in adulthood. The author helps us to get back to our inner child and changing our inner child therefore changing ourselves for the better. This is done throughout three stages of effective affirmations.

This book is a handy collection of different affirmations to help you maintain a positive outlook and move forward in healing old wounds. It's a very nice summary of many of its predecessors, including Wayne Dyer's work on the power of affirmations. Very accessible for someone who knows little or nothing about the topic.
