You are not ready for this story!!! GAH! First, let me start by saying Savvy King is my new favorite Alley Ciz heroine because I always appreciate a strong female lead. Savvy’s a badass, but she’s not afraid to be vulnerable when the moment calls for it. The sexual tension between her and Jasper is OFF-THE-CHARTS explosive. I couldn’t get enough of their back and forth. I love the side characters as well. They’re so witty and perfectly complement their protagonist counterparts. The cliffhanger had me dying to get my grabby hands on the next installment of this duet. What an amazing start to this new series! Run, don’t walk to one-click this book!

But seriously, Savvy King is the ultimate badass woman who you need to have as both your best friend and your partner and crime for killing all the assholes in the world. I love her so fucking much.
And Jasper?! (Seriously, how sexy is that name?!) Is the the epitome of a bad boy with the heart of gold. And all those throat grabs?! Fuck. Yes.🔥🔥🔥🔥 I'm so gone for this couple.

This was the first book I’ve ever read by Alley Ciz and will definitely not be my last.
Alley Ciz has written a fantastic, double point of view story with Savvy and Jasper.
I’m absolutely in love with Savvy and Jasper. Savvy is witty and quick to fight back with her words and actions. Jasper is your typical alphahole who wants to have what he can’t have. And what he wants is Samantha St James aka Savvy.
This story also has a fabulous cast of side characters to accompany our two main characters. Tessa, Duke, and Tinsley, to name a few of the side characters in Savage Queen.
Alley writes an interesting story that immediately grips you from the very beginning. I can’t believe I had not read any of her other books until now. If any of them are like Savage Queen, she will be an author I immediately buy from now on.
I highly recommend this book to you. 5+ stars for Savage Queen

Savvy King is my absolute favorite female character in any book! She is fierce, loyal as all heck and literally a Queen! This book! This absolutely amazing, fantastic, awesome book!! 🔥💜 I loved every word I read! Was the ending a cliffhanger, yes! But Alley Ciz is the Queen of crazy cliffhangers so, I shouldn’t be shocked by them anymore! 😜 Ok this cliffhanger still shocked the heck out of me! 😱
Savvy you meet in Alley’s U of J series! The minute I learned of her in those books I loved her! She doesn’t take nothing from nobody! And this book proves that. Here she is thrown into a situation out of her hands. She needs to prove those around her that she can succeed on her own and be the ferocious Queen everyone makes her out to be (she is, she so is)!
Jasper Noble, jock, handsome as all heck and so full of himself! Does he push Savvy, yes! Does he bully her, HECK YES! But does she give it right back? Oh you betcha she does! Jasper Noble has met his match with Savvy King! These two are a force to be reckoned with! They are strong, confident powerhouses! They are the perfect push and pull, the ideal match for each other!

DAMN, she got me again! Even knowing this book ended on a cliffhanger and watch the % complete creep towards the end, I got sucked up into the action going on in the story and then BAM - cliffhanger! Alley Ciz writes awesome stories that literally leave you hanging off the cliff in anticipation of getting your hands on her next book. I have to admit I sorta love the adrenaline rush of it, but the waiting to get the rest of the story is a pain in the ass.
I’m really not a fan of bully romances, BUT I loved this one because Savvy is no weak damsel and she can more than step up and take down Jasper and his crew who think they own Blackwell Prep (BP), but Savvy doesn’t backdown from anyone or anything. Watching Jasper spin his wheels trying to get the upper hand in his battle with Savvy and then failing epically is hilarious and inspires so much glee.
These two are so focused on getting the upper hand in their battle they don’t realize or want to recognize their intense chemistry and physical reaction to each other.
Their battle against each other is epic, but I think the next book is going to blow us away when the join forces.
We first meet Savvy and her friends/family in UofJ and she was definitely a great character in those 3 books. I wasn’t sure where a HS-age duet would go since Alley’s previous books have been college-age or older. Wow, this book is just as fantastic despite the younger age of the characters.

If I wasn't so addicted to Alley Ciz's writing I would absolutely hate her. But I seriously have no self-control when it comes to her books. Almost any other author writes a duet and I wait for the second one to be released before I jump in. Especially after they nearly killed me with the cliff-hanger in their last two books. But no, I just couldn't wait. And now I'm in purgatory waiting until June for the next book.
I'm trying so hard to get a handle on it but damn I feel like a toddler in a tiara having a meltdown.
As a massive fan I went into this knowing that Savvy is the ultimate queen b. The only question really is who could be worthy? And who would be man enough to stand up to the Royals? And I have to say Jasper was all that. He wasn't quite as alpha-hole as I was expecting but that wasn't a negative.
I loved everything about this story. There was so much going on I wasn't sure which bomb was going to go off first and what it would be packed with. I literally sat on the edge of my chair clutching my book trying to get as much reading time in as possible. I loved the secondary characters that were new. I loved getting little snippets of the characters we already knew. And I loved everything Savvy and Jasper.
Having this told in dual point of views made me love Jasper that much more. And I can't wait to see how he reacts to the surprise announcement that the book ended on. But even more, I can't wait to see the Royal’s reaction. I can already sense the epicness of book two, I just wish it was already on my kindle.
If you are new to Alley's books you are going to be happy because there's a whole heap of awesome for you to one click. And since this can be read as a standalone from the earlier books you can do that after you finish this duet.

I was maybe like two chapters in before I was like yep, it’s official, Savvy is my favorite. She is 𝕟𝕠𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 like any other heroine Alley has written and I am just obsessed with her.
Like whatever cares there were to give she had none. She’s fearless and ballsy and you just can’t help but love and respect her. You get to witness the depth of her and Tessa’s friendship and y’all these two were straight up #𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬. Savvy would need one hell of a guy to match her fire.
𝑰𝒏 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒔 𝑱𝒂𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒆. This guy...he was unabashedly arrogant, relentless, and positively addicting with that filthy mouth and possessiveness. From the moment he laid eyes on Savvy it was over. He was tenacious in his goal of capturing the silver lock, purple eyed beauty. But, he wholly unprepared for Savvy.
She gave him every single run for his money. Together these two left scorch marks on the pages with their sizzling slow burning sexual tension. But, when they FINALLY got together!? Ｓｈｅｅｓｈ! Grab your water, fan, ice, fire extinguisher because you will need it all.

Alley Ciz has taken a deep dive into the bully world and smashed it out of the park with Savage Queen.
Savage Queen is a light bully romance with a twist. Normally we see the hero bullying the heroine but Savvy King said hold my beer and let me show you how girls in the Royalty Crew do things. This girl is so strong, so bad ass and my new girl crush. She stands up to Jasper at every turn, fighting him constantly making the sexual tension between the pair off the charts and I was here for it.
Can we just take a moment to talk about how well Alley writes a huge cast of characters and makes you fall in love with every single one. We met some of these characters in the U of J series by Alley. I loved Tessa Taylor when I saw a glimpse of her but boy oh boy is that girl funny as fuck. I need her book ASAP because she is going to cause some guy a massive headache!
Savage Queen is everything I wanted from this world and more.

Oh I had forgotten just how much I love reading Alley Ciz’s books!!
I absolutely loved Savvy and Jasper - the push and pull between these two was everything. So much sexual tension, then add in the fight for dominance and I could not get enough. Throw in Tessa, the Royals and a trusty sidekick and all of the banter and wit was next level and so entertaining. I’m glad I started this over the weekend so I didn’t have to put it down for too long!
Please Alley, can I have the next book yet?? Oh and I think we need many more books for these characters please 😆

I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. I have to say Alley knows how to write a bully book. Savage Queen had me on the tips of toes from the very start to the very end. I love Savvy, I actually have gilt crush on her she's so fierce a d strong she's bad bitch! Jasper oh man is he in for it when he finds out the truth. And Natalie has got to go. I can't wait!!!

Alley has never earned her title of Evil Queen more than with the ending of this book. Like what in the actual hell?!?!
I've been interested in Savvy's story since reading the U of J series. I really thought Wes might be her's, but enter Jasper Noble: a hot as fuck alphahole with a smart ass mouth to rival her own. He's used to being in charge and getting what he wants. Until he meets Savvy fucking Queen. Though she has to keep her true identity on the DL, her royalty still shines through.
This is definitely a bully romance. Even when he's pissing her off (which is most of the time) Savvy is drawn to Jasper, and them together is straight fire *insert throat grab here * He's so possessive of her he's not afraid to go up against the Royals to have her, and let's be honest, they're some scary guys.
This damn cliffhanger has me dying for Ruthless Noble. So many secrets are about to come out and its going to be explosive!

Savvy Mother F’in King
Savage Queen was like starting a roller coaster ride waiting on that inclined track for that drop that you know is coming, you know it’s building and you’re ready but at the same time a little scared with how big this ride will be. Savvy and Jasper’s story was like the tallest roller coaster ride flying at 60mph right as soon as you buckle up and the car shoots out on the track.
This is a non dark bully high school enemies to lovers romance with so much angst build up and tension! You could literally cut the tension with a knife. It was a sensational start of a roller coaster ride but with a frickin cliff hanger! Finishing this book was like the roller coaster ride literally paused and I’m stuck waiting for someone to pick up their shift (cough cough Alley I need the next book ASAP)
Savvy and Jasper are perfect for one another wether they realize it or not. Their banter and push and pull was everything. I loved how much Jasper wasn’t ready for Savvy. She showed up and wasn’t taking anything he threw her way. Savvy is literally savage and one one my favorite Heroines ever! Her sarcasm speaks to my heart
Savage Queen reminds me of a cross between Gossip Girl and fast and the furious but for so many reasons and more! There’s enemies to lovers, secrets and lies, some fast hot cars, a dangerous kind of beautiful hero who can be infuriating, and a fierce Heroine who will not be bullied into submission that’s for sure
The side characters were amazing and I want their stories! There was so much involved besides the thickening plot and let me tell you there’s some twists and turns. I want it all and I can’t wait. I definitely recommend reading this book if all that I’ve said sounds good for you just be warned about the cliff hanger! Book 2 comes out in June!

IN LOVE with this authors storytelling
Okay, I 100% have a girl crush on Savvy King!! No matter what she doesn't back down from what's right and she definitely knows how to do it in style. She's the Royals Queen and they want to protect her although it can seem overbearing at times, their family dynamic is so sweet. Her friendship with Tessa is also so adorable and hilarious with how they can read each other so accurately! Jasper Noble underestimates Savvy at every turn and has to work extra hard to try to bring her to heel 'in his kingdom,' but doesn't realize that she kneels for no one.
Savvy is made to keep her true identity as a Royal a secret when she switches schools but even this can't stop her from being her fierce self. I can't wait for Jasper to realize who she really is - he's so off base it's actually really funny! These two together... wowza, just steam factor express! His jealous side is fun to watch because he doesn't even realize why he's jealous until he realizes he wants to be with her. The momster better be taken down several notches because what does she even think she's doing with Savvy?! June can't come fast enough - we need to know the reaction to that information overload/bomb that was dropped!
(Sort of like a cross between fast & the furious mixed with gossip girl = steamy action, fast cars, and DRAMA!!!)

I read this a week ago. I'd written a flimsy review at first because I couldn't come up with a brilliant way to say how much this story rocks my world. I love everything Alley writes. Shes hands down one of my favorite authors. But Savage Queen? I don't know how she will ever top this. For me personally, it's her best work yet.
I love Savvy King. She is fierce. She is strong. She is humble. She is kind. She is loyal. She is loving. But don't mistake all that goodness for weakness because she is anything but. Oh my. She made me hot and bothered. Savvy is the epitome of badass. Well behaved women rarely make history. And Savvy makes fucking history.
Jasper? How do I even simplify this character? To say he's a bona-fide grade A, balls to the wall asshole would be putting it mildly. But.... YES PLEASE!!! A sexy, scorching hot, yank my hair, squeeze my throat and devour my lips, bully. I am here for it.

OMG, I cannot, cannot, cannot express my current disdain of cliff hangers, they drive me insane and test my patiences. With that being said, Alley Ciz has done it again! I absolutely loved Savage Queen! Savvy is my new favorite idol! Alley Ciz just has a way of making you fall for the characters and become hooked to their story, that you don't even realize you hit the end until it says you have to wait for the next part. Savvy and Jasper are from different worlds and now both worlds collide, however Savvy won't let her new school ring leaders rule over her. Savvy is a boss! I love her and her never ending strength. Jasper has been the king at BA until Savvy walks into his life. Jasper and Savvy clash like no other duo I have seen, one dishes it out and the other dishes it right back. Jasper and Savvy ignore their attraction and try to prove who won't bend the knee, but it is an entertaining, drama filled, banter-filled adventure, until the end. Now we have to wait for the next book, which cannot get here fast enough. Jasper and Savvy had me hooked from the start, on the edge of my seat with anticipation on what these two will do next, that I honestly am counting down the days until I can continue their story.

OMG!!!!!! I freaking LOVED this book!! I think this might just be Alley Ciz’s best book yet!!! That cliffhanger about killed me but wow! She had so much jam packed in this book! I couldn’t put it down! Savvy is the BEST! She is hardcore sass and I love her! SOOOO much angst!! I couldn’t read it fast enough and now I’m sad that I’m already done. I’m so excited for book 2 coming in July! A Ruthless Noble is going to be so good!!!

I have read this book in one sitting. The flow of the storyline is fast-paced, it was told in an alternating POV of our main characters - 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝘃𝘆/𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗮 & 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿. Honestly speaking I thoroughly enjoy reading this, I think the characterization between the two isn't one-dimensional, I also like the secret identity facet, Jasper will not ready for the truth. But what I truly liked about it, is the palpable sexual tension and chemistry, I like how it is written. And one thing for sure that @alley.ciz can write a freaking cliffhanger 🥺.
Overall, if you're looking for a truly badass and both dominant characters, then you will fall in love with these two.

HOLY FUCKING HANGOVER
I am OBSESSED
Normally young adult aren't my go to reads. I find high school reads super drama filled and bullying is a no go for me. I don't want a heroine to fall in love with someone who bullied her.. like what the fuck. But this.. it's different. There is no unnecessary drama and the heroine is more cutthroat than the hero and I was living for it. Samantha is a whole vibe. I want to be her when I grown up.
Samantha aka Savvy aka queen boss bitch. I swear this girl has balls of steel and a crown of thorns. Starting at a new school is never easy, then factor in being a target at said new school because of the crown you hold. She for many reasons had to become Samantha. Just saying though.. not even the threat of being a target could change this girl. She stomped the halls with a fierce confidence and never once wavered in her strength. Sensuality clings to her like a skin and her sharp witt and clap backs come out faster than the crack of a whip. She may be the new girl here but she's still a legend.
Jasper Noble aka king of the douchbag brigade. Man have I never been so fuming and equally fascinated with a character. He thinks he owns the halls and for the most part he does. With the exception of a smart mouths sinful new girl. He's an asshole. There is no doubt about that but he also gets off the chase of the unattainable. He's never had to work so hard for a girl in his own stomping ground and he was both frustrated and fascinated which pissed him off. I could not help but love his controlling antics and fiery dominance. The guy knew what buttons to press to get your engines reving for sure.
These two together are like fire meeting gasoline. Combustible, explosive... palpable through the pages. The hate to love anger meeting undeniable want made for a nail biting climactic build. I sat waiting and wanting more of them pushing eachothers buttons in every way. It was fascinating to watch their fight quiet and see them activity looking eachother out even though they were nowhere near ready to admit defeat to the chemistry that coated one another like a suffocating cloud. Everything about them felt right, real and raw. I could feel that connection even if they didn't want it. The hate, the want .. the curiosity.. the conflict. All those feeling flew out the pages trapping me in this world like a moth to a flame. I was hooked.
The side characters are interesting to say the least. I haven't read any of the previous books before so I was in the dark in regards to the many relationships between them all but i didn't feel like I was missing out either. I loved the chemistry between them all. The teasing and taunting, the banter.. the bickering. It all felt very natural and real. Honestly I loved all the huge personalities. This story certainly did not lack depth in characters that is for sure.
I'm obsessed. This story hooked me from the first page with its confident strong characters and snark. It has depth with all the feels, relatable characters that I could see being real and a story that paced perfectly teasing us with the promise of what's to come. It's hot, it's climactic, it's funny and at times frustrating in all the best ways. I want NEED more. June can't come bloody quick enough. I don't even know why I do this to myself, my blood pressure can't cope with these damn cliffhangers.

Although there is very little “stuffin’ the muffin” happening, the sexual tension is... so thick (haha, that’s what she said) you could cut it with a knife.
Alley aka my crack dealer has taken her writing in a very different - and delicious - direction. The Royals are people I would love to have in my corner, Savvy is a bossbabe, and I absolutely adore Little Miss Extra.
Screw the book boyfriends - although, I wouldn’t mind a bit of Charming - I’ll take a fictional female this time 'round.

Savage Queen is book one in The Royalty Crew series by Alley Ciz. This is a new adult, high school light bully romance with prospects of becoming enemies-to-lovers later on. I must warn you that this story does end on a cliffhanger and what an ending it was. I've been chomping at the bit to get this story and it was everything I wanted and more in an Alley Ciz novel. I was intrigued from the beginning and thoroughly captivated throughout with how well the storyline was written. The light bullying, drama, and mystery tells me that there's more exciting things to come in this series.
Savvy is a queen, no questions about it. I am irrevocably in love with Savvy 'Samantha' King. She is fierce, fiesty, and loyal to a fault. I admire her take-no-shit attitude and how she refuses to bow down to anyone. She's just had her life upended when her mom decides to take an interest and enrols her in a prestigious school for kids of rich and elite families. As much as she has no interest in rubbing elbows with entitled kids, she has no choice but to go with it as she's still a few months shy of turning 18 and doesn't want to risk the hell her mom has the potential to unleash on her. On her first day day of school she catches the eye of Jasper Noble. No one at Blackwell Academy knows who she really is and she wants to keep it that way. But there is no way she'll be sheep like the rest of the school and abide by the social hierarchy.
Jasper and his boys pretty much run Blackwell Academy but when Savvy comes and stirs the pot, he needs to put her in her place before others start defying him aswell. He feels that there's something familiar about Savvy but can't pinpoint what. The more she stands up to him, the more attracted he becomes to her as no one has ever challenged him the way she does. I absolutely devoured this story. I loved everything about it (except the cliffhanger) I loved how characters from the U of J series were featured but I mostly loved the thick budding tension between Sav and Jas. Savage Queen was a great introduction to the series and I can't wait to see what's in store in the next book.

Omg!!! What just happened? I absolutely adore Savvy. She’s one badass chick. And don’t even get me started on Jasper. Smoking hot! This book ends in a huge cliffhanger. Can not wait for the next book. Not sure I can wait until June. Great read!!

This was my first Alley Ciz book, and I fell in love!
Her voice is so unique and addictive, I couldn't stop reading once I started.
Savvy is a great, very real character. She isn't only one thing. Tough, but sweet. Confident, but a little insecure. The dichotomy of her personality makes her relatable and likable.
Jasper is sexy AF. He's mean, but only because he likes to be in control and Savvy tests his resolve at every turn. I love that he falls first and he falls hard...because he never sees it coming. The tension and heat between Jasper and Savvy and practically tangible. Alley knows how to write some steamy scenes!
The ending is a sucker punch, and it made me giddy with how evil it was. Alley Ciz, you have some 'splainin' to do. How could you do this to us? Who hurt you?

The ending is a sucker punch, and it made me giddy with how evil it was. Alley Ciz, you have some 'splainin' to do. How could you do this to us? Who hurt you?

Samantha St. James, or Savvy King to her true friends, is tired of playing along in her mother's little game, and really tired of the being the newest student at BA. She has attracted the attention of the devil himself, Jasper Noble and his cronies, and they have made it their mission to make her life as terrible as possible. They run the halls of BA and they expect her to follow suit like everyone else has, but she doesn't play that way.
She is a queen and expects to be treated as such! Which only riles up Jasper even more, he isn't use to dealing with a girl like Samantha, they normally fall at his feet, and she is determined to have him falling at hers! It's a dangerous game she is playing... one she doesn't plan on losing!
Savage Queen is a drama-filled tale rich with angst and feeling, once the words take ahold of you it's impossible to escape them! In this one we get a closer look at the life of Savvy King and the boy who has managed to sneak past her radar Jasper Noble. These two are like oil and water... they just don't mix. Both love to be in control and neither plans on relinquishing their reign, Savvy is used to being the queen of the school and Jasper is the self proclaimed king of BA. But Savvy isn't at BP anymore, which means her clout is next to none in the halls of BA, which also means things are bound to be terrible for her. These two go back and forth trying to out prank the other, pushing each other's buttons, and trying to find ways to drive the other to submit... but all that ends up happening is a lot of unwanted chemistry and heat! Savvy doesn't want to like him... but her heart has other plans on the matter!
This was the perfect way to kick off a new series, it had everything I crave in a story and much, much, more! It was bully romance at it's best! The words tormented my heart and left me wanting more... and after that ending I cannot wait to see what the pages of the next installment hold. Highly recommend this one, it pages hold a story that should not be missed!!!

THIS BOOK.
I have been chomping at the bit to get Savvy's story, and now that I've got it, I WANT MORE.
Savvy is everything I wanted - and more. She lives up to her name, she is a total baddie, and I just LOVE HER. [i'm using a lot of caps in this review...sorry not sorry] She doesn't take anything from anyone, even when she has to deal with some major life changes. She can hold her own like no other and has quickly become one of my absolute fave female leads.
What I wasn't prepared for was Jasper. Holy smokes. I absolutely wanted to throw a shoe at him at the beginning, but as the book went on, I found more to like about him. And the chemistry between him and Savvy is RIDICULOUS. I was just waiting for my Kindle to combust in my hands every time the two of them were on the page together.
As has been the case with other Alley books, I loved the characters and the storyline. I loved the twists and turns that kept me buried in this one. I haven't done a ton of reading this year, but when I say I devoured this book - I DEVOURED it. Pretty much pulled an all-nighter because I didn't want to put it down. It does end on a cliffhanger, but I personally expected that. It's a heck of a cliffhanger, too, so buckle in and get ready for a wild ride!

Holy shouty capitals with that cliffhanger ending!! This book is loaded with tension!! Jasper and Savvy (Samantha) are the most opposite but oh so alike! I loved their journey together. From his bullying tactics to try and break her to her strong as steel backbone! Savvy and The Royals are not to be messed with and Jasper and his crew better get in line! What a great way to start the UofJ spinoff. Savvy was a bombshell in The UofJ books and the world most definitely isn’t prepared to deal with her mind!! ! I need book 2 like yesterday

This is my first book by Alley Ciz and I after reading Savage Queen I am definitely a fan. This is a bully romance but I don’t think the bullying is as bad as some books I’ve read. I was hooked from the start though and blew through this book fast.
Savvy aka Samantha was raised mostly by her brother Carter King. The Royals consist of the 5 founding families of Blackwell with Carter now being the leader. Their mother, Natalie aka momster left them after their father passed away in search of a new husband. After being gone for years momster comes back with a new rich husband and demands for Savvy to come live with them. Savvy is forced to move away from her brother, the other royals and her best friend. She is transferred from her old school BP where she ruled the halls as a King to BA where she is made to keep who she is a secret. She immediately becomes a target for the leaders of BA when she refuses to bow to their demands especially Jasper Noble. Savvy is a sarcastic rebellious heroine who doesn’t like when others try to control her. She doesn’t flinch at most of Jasper and his groups bullying tactics which just frustrates him more.
The chemistry between Jasper and Savvy is hot. They both dislike each other something fierce. Jasper demands control while Savvy is tired of people telling her what to do. The back and forth with them is fun to watch. It’s a medium burn so while there is a ton of tension nothing much happens until the end of the book. It was entertaining watching Jasper’s jealous side come out whenever he saw Savvy with one of the Royals.
As much as I love Savvy and Jasper one of my favorite parts of the book were the side characters. Tessa is amazing and I admit I have a little bit of a crush on her. Her and Savvy are the definition of best friends. Her goading Savvy over what was going on between her and Jasper and then Savvy blaming her for reading too many bully romances had me cracking up. I love the family dynamic the royals have. They all care about Savvy and even though it annoys her sometimes they are very protective of her.
The cliffhanger was as savage as Savvy herself. Based on the ending of the book the next one is for sure going to be crazy. I can’t wait for the explosive when Jasper finds out who Savvy is. I already know the meeting between Carter, the royals and Jasper is going to be epic. I also hope momster gets knocked down a peg or two.
