Pacific Prep #2

Brutal Lies

Rate this book
This was not part of my plan.
Enrolling at Pacific Prep was supposed to gain me freedom and a feeling of control over my life. Buried truths are being revealed, and my goals are becoming less clear by the day.
My entire life, I’ve wanted a family; wanted to know if I had one out there. I’ve craved answers and now that I’m getting them, I don’t know if I’m ready.
I have a brother, a family.
Sadly, the knowledge of that isn’t comforting, because I can’t trust them.
The same distrust extends to the guys that are invading every aspect of my life. Suddenly, they’re everywhere, demanding the truth from my lips and tugging at a heart that’s been cold for far too long.

Will the truth set me free, or rip me apart?

***This book is a reverse harem, meaning the FMC will have three or more love interests.
The book also has trigger warnings for bullying, violent and/or graphic scenes, dubcon, vulgar language and graphic scenes and references to self harm and past trauma.

Woah book 2 picked up right where book 1 left off. This story is packed with twists and turns that keep you wanting more, steamy scenes that will make you squirm and characters that grip you with their bravery and alphaness!!

The angst was high in this read, but I loved it! I can't decide which of the Princes I adore the most. It was West in book 1, but Mason is oh so yummy. Cam is breaking my heart and Hawk is coming around. Beck, oh Beck.. He owns a piece of my heart as well.

Hadley is so strong and fierce. A true phoenix rising.. She is determined to survive. For herself and for her guys. Despite where she came from, despite the people out to get her, despite the lies and half truths.

What the heck!! That cliffhanger.. UGH!! I can't wait to find out the answers!! I need to know what's going on!!

Completed & My "Unofficial Review"
I've waited with Bated breath for this ARC since I read BROKEN TRUST (book 1) a month ago, & Oh so worth it!! I got the book today & completed it in hours too, needless to say...I didn't do much work today!

Take this as *MY UNOFFICIAL REVIEW* as I'm not sure when I'll be writing the "OFFICIAL" one, but gosh...This has been such hell of a freaking amazing ride!! More secrets revealed (Some still to uncover 😉), Trust growing, MFM sexy times...Things seem to be coming together & shit's getting real!

I love Hadley so much, She's Kickass, A warrior & gone through so much, that we finally found out! Relations broke & Came out stronger.

Things are going so hotly well & emotionally fun with Beck, Mason & West! Things are coming around with Hawk & Cam too...How can I hate those 2 after what happened here? I don't.

BUT I HATE CAM'S DAD, LAWRENCE SOOO MUCH!! I wanna kill that shit for what he'd done!! 🤬

This also ended with a cliffhanger, But with the next one in October (as per Amazon) I've got a long wait...But I'm not nervous. As long as our 6 stay as an unit, I'm sure all will be well.

I also found that there'd be 4 books in this series, hell I can't wait (Yay, they're all releasing in 2021 *Whew*)! To have more of these 6 & to see'em get a HEA♥️ (But My heart hurts for what they've & will endure). This book? Definitely a #mustread.

At 83%, Omg, these scenes!! I'm so happy her relationships are fairing better, We got sexy times...MFM too! I'm sad for Cam though...
But I want to kill Lawrence (Cam's dad)!! I want revenge from that old fucker!! I don't want to imagine what would've happened if Hawk hadn't been there at time😭.

At 38%, This book has hooked me in! Like omg, I'm so invested. Another sibling connection, i think truths gonna come out! I hate Cam's dad so much!!

I've waited with bated breath to get my ARC & FINALLY, fucking finally, I got it!! I'm so happy, i could cry🤩. Now I'm diving in!

★3.5/5! WEST MY LOVEEE! dark morally grey man? NO GIVE ME THE FREAKY NERD EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Hawk and Hadley honestly carried this book, seeing them grow into a sibling bond was so precious! The beginning started off really strong but it fell flat around the middle and picked back up towards the end.

Mason and Beck their scenes with Hadley TOO CUTE! Cam i don’t even know he was just there getting drunk.

Might come back to the series? I’m not really feeling any connections with the characters, i feel like it is a very repetitive book but once it hits the plot they are actually good books. I’ll come back for Mason hopefully

Can I just say OMG this series is so amazing?!? All the secrets and lies going not only between the Princes and Hadley, but all the secrets in the overall story. Just as soon as I think I have an idea of what's going, another plot twist completely blows me away! I cannot wait for Pacific Prep #3, and the roller coaster I'm sure we're going to be led!

The first book was so perfect, this one was just disapointing.
Emilia for some reason annoyed the hell out of me and I don't really see her importance to the story, she's only there to make Hadley attend parties, and their friendship is so weird, like who would trade friendships of years (Emilia's friendship with the others Scholarship students) for a girl (Hadley) that you met like three months ago, and the whole thing with Hadley telling her about Hawk and the other boys just didn't felt genuine at all, you don't tell things like that to a girl that abandoned you once and that apologized to you like a month ago, and that just abandoned her friends of years, just no.
I can't stand Mason, his relationship with Hadley is just sex, they keep talking about feeling a connection but there wasn't any scene that showed them talking. And him barging in every sexual interaction that West had with Hadley was just annoying and unnecessary, he was the one who fucking narrated the first real sexual interaction between Hadley and West, like seriously? that was so weird, just like their threesome, she had just been sexual assaulted and the first thing she does is have a threesome?! Just NO. Also the fact that Mason says that Hadley doesn't use makeup and it somehow makes her not fake like the other rich girls that do use it, come on, we're in 2021, we shouldn't be shaming girls for liking makeup. It bothered me the fact that Hadley not wearing makeup was being hammered like it was something so amazing.
Also West not having sex because apparently he wanted things on the bedroom that would scare girls away being said all the time made me look forward to his first time with Hadley, and then he takes Hadley away from the party and just commands her to grip the table (this isn't weird, Mason was a dick and "commanded" a girl on the first book almost like that), and again his sexual relationship with Hadley was so disapointing because Mason was there in every interaction.
I love Cam and I completely understand him acting the way he is.
Something that bothered me a little was how the sex scenes seemed to start out of nowhere and end out of nowhere, there wasn't a smooth transition between them and the next scene.
These characters are all eighteen and older, they shouldn’t be acting like stupid teenagers, they found out about their parents Shady bussiness on their own, they know their parents don't really give a shit about their lives, with the whole West life in danger, and their plan is to out Hadley as one of them? So she can be used against them? THAT'S STUPID. And even more stupid is the fact that in there wasn't a moment they talk about the fact that they don't know what happened to Hadley, like she wasn't told as dead to them, she was completely erased from her parents lives, she wasn't grieved as a dead child, or a child that dissapeared for an unknown reason, she was completely erased, with the only pictures and information about her locked in a safe and they think that the best idea is to take her to meet her parents?
I like the characters and the story seems intriguing, and I look forward to the next book, even if this one didn't quite hit it for me.

You can't leave me hanging like that! Ugh, this book is so good and I'll die without the next one. I love these guys so much, and learning more about Hadley is heartbreaking. Things are starting to come together, and I have a feeling we will get a big shock in the next one. I need to know what happens!!

To say I’ve been longing for this book is an understatement. After the ending of book 1 I was dying to get my hands on this. I knew it was going to be even more intense and gripping than the first and I wasn’t wrong. So many secrets come to light while some stay deeply hidden. Relationships grow closer while some might be damaged beyond repair.

Hadley proved once again why she is an amazing fmc. She is strong and fierce. She did have some vulnerable moments in this book. It was nice to see that even under that hard interior she is human. I loved that she is slowly opening herself up to the guys and trying to trust them. I’m glad she has Emilia in her corner. She deserves a true friend. Beck oh boy. This man is simply perfection. I love how close him and Hadley are and how he supports her no matter what. We see another side to West and Mason. West has a secret dominant side that I’m all for. Mason shows his sweet side. The way that both act around Hadley is so touching. You can feel the affection they have for her. Cam, oh Cam. I went back and forth so much with wanting to hug him and wanting to throat punch him. I hope he steps up next book. R.A. how dare you go from having my hate Hawk with a passion only to make my heart melt in one paragraph. I can’t with you right now.

We find out a lot more about Hadley’s past and man it hurt. I hope a certain character gets some lovely torture that is past due. We also find out about the guy's parents' business that they are supposed to take over. Going to be interesting to see how Hadley’s past and their futures come together. I can’t wait until book 3. We are left hanging this book which was cruel. But I forgive R.A. (kinda) cause I have a feeling the next book is going to be a giant explosion of chaos.

And another RH series bites the dust.

Somehow all my RH series reads have been terrible this month. I'm on a bad RH streak.

⚠️ TW: bullying, violent and/or graphic scenes, dubcon, vulgar language, graphic scenes, references to self harm and past trauma (as written in the blurb).

Again, the bullying aspect wasn't anything big other than the other rich girls who wanted the Princes and were jealous of Hadley's connection to them.

This book was rather a short one that I read through quickly. Plot wise some questions were answered from where the previous book ended. In terms of the harem itself, there were some developments between Hadley, West and Mason. Beck and Hadley also had a mutual understanding that they were not exclusive and that Hadley can choose whoever she wants to explore so she gets all three males.

That being said, I thought the plot would be something big and dark but it didn't seem to be as dramatic as I thought it'd be. My interest in this series didn't last, I didn't like how the harem was boring and there's nothing to look forward to. Hadley gets angry at the boys but loses her anger even faster than that. There's no point in building the angst for it to be dropped. She also wasn't ready to open up about herself but expected the boys to do so, this is becoming a trend in most of the RH books I read and it's becoming so frustrating to read through - I'd rather not even read at all.

I think this is the reason why I don't read high school books (other than a few exceptions). And maybe I should stop trying.

I’ve been waiting for this book and thank the stars I didn’t have to wait too long!

Brutal Lies picks up right where Broken Trust left off and I’m so damn happy about it!

RA Smyth has answered SOME of the questions but she also added more questions.

I honestly don’t know how to write this review without giving spoilers away because the whole book is one big spoiler.

In Broken Trust I thought I had my favorite guys picked out but after reading Brutal Lies, I’ve changed my mind.

West, Beck and Mason are EVERYTHING 😍😍😍

This book has a ton of steam but doesn’t steer far from the story.

I would like to congratulate the author on another 10 star read!

Spice: 🌶

These books should really be condensed to a novel or two. I've finished one and two, but I can't make myself read the others. There are too many slow crawling holes for this to be a continual read.

The plot seems to be truly intriguing, but following this as if I'm reading someone's written journal is almost painful.

Several grammar/linguistic issues reported via kindle.

3,5 stars - a lot better! I still don’t get the super high rating though. I liked Hadley so much more in this second book which made it instantly a lot more enjoyable. But it still felt like the plot was all over the place and not really consistent. I also liked the dynamic between the guys better but there is still a lot to improve. The smut was still very medicore at best. the plot got a little more exciting and I’m going to read the next book because I see real improvement in this second book and I have hope that the next one could be even better. There are still so many secrets though and I can already tell there is going to be unnecessary drama because of it and I’m already annoyed but I would loved to be proven wrong, so we will see.

Brutal Lies by RA Smyth is book 2 of the Pacific Prep academy series. The second book picks up exactly where we left off in Broken Trust. We get to see so much more now from the guys’s perspectives. Hadley is the ultimate bad bich I would like to be. Obviously not the suffering she had to go through but her ultimate kick butt powers and energy and charisma; Hadley is like Black Widow in this series. How could that ending be another cliffy?

RA Smyth has written a freaking masterpiece and she has left me speechless and WTF with that ending!!! Why must we wait now until October??? I need more West, Mason, Cam, Hawk and Beck!!! I love love love love West, Mason, Beck, and Hawk!!!! And there are so many secrets swirling around that I can’t wait to see how it’s all going to unfold! I hope we get those secrets revealed in the upcoming Book 3 Beyond Vengeance. Even the next title says some thing of what is to come!!

Seriously this series is so good, dark, and steamy. It is a definite must read for you that you need to add to your to be read pile. Like now!!!!

After the end of book one I was desperate to see what happened in book two. Brutal Lies was the perfect follow up, complete with its own cliffhanger and brilliant storyline. Hadley is my favourite type of leading lady, she takes no crap from people but is also a little broken. Her damage doesn’t mean weakness, then more her story evolves the more I love her.

After the ending of Broken Trust I had so many questions about Beck and West’s history, and in this book I got a few answers. I also got a million more questions. Mason is still a mystery to me and I’m hoping that his history is brought up in book three. Cam in book one was completely different to the Cam in this book, I’m loving that his character has so much growth potential and I even started to like and understand Hawk in this one too. If you’re looking for a brilliant RH read with plot twists and a storyline more addictive than cake, this is it.

Brutal Lies had me hooked right away. I love a good mystery and this series has it for me. Once one thing comes to light it leaves you with so many more questions.

Hadley has earned her title of a badass in my book. It’s a quote in the book that just hits so hard that it truly define Hadley.

“You had to go through hell in order to rise from the ashes and emerge as the warrior you are.”

I hope to find out more of what happened to Hadley. It’s so many questions I have about her past.

I loved having the guys POV seeing how they felt about things going on gave me great insight into who they really are and learn their struggles too.

With all these secrets and lies going on I hope they can learn to trust one another and tell each other everything before things start to blow up in their faces.

RA Smyth has me hooked I can’t wait to see what she has planned for the rest of this series.

Still struggling with this cliffhanger and the fact that I have to wait until October for the next book while I write this review.

Holy shit. I’ve had high hopes after the first book, and R.A. Smyth sure as hell delivered.

The mystery around Hadley’s gets unveiled bit by bit, and by the end of the book the picture is relatively clear. She’s learning to trust the guys, and even lets them in on some of the secrets she’s harboring. I love that we get POVs from all the guys and not just from her, and I love how their relationships change and evolve (even the one with Hawk). We get quite a bit of steam (trust me in this), and without spilling anything - prepare for a few plot spins that will make your head reel.

It reminds me a bit of the Hannaford-books, but with a different setup, less OTT gore, and more mindfucks.

*3.5 Stars*

Also the warning doesn’t specially say this so I’ll just put it out there for anyone thinking about reading this, there is SA in this one. The trigger warnings listed don’t say that, just “graphic and violent scenes” and I can’t remember if there was a note at the start of the book so just in case.

Secrets, Lies, Betrayal, Just another Day in the Lives If Pacific Prep RH

*Some spoilers may be present in this review*
Brutal Lies (Pacific Prep #2)

The story continues for Hadley Parker, and the Princes of Pacific Prep,

Cam, West, Mason, Hawk are now joined by the school therapist, and equally hot, half brother of West, Beck, who has been treating Hadley.

The guys are now dealing with threats made by their parents, who are now insisting in their involvement in the families business “Nocturnal Enterprises”

If they don’t, it has been made clear that either West , or Beck would be disposed of.
On top of this, the guys also have the added concerns regarding Hadley.

In this book she comes clean, telling them about what she can remember regarding her past horrible involvement with Cam’s Dad , Lawrence.

So, it’s a case of keeping Hadley from Lawrence’s sleazy ways, while garnering some kind of damning evidence about their parents mercenary company.
While this is happening Hadley and Hawk ALSO have to come to terms with finding out that they are brother and sister,…TWINS actually.
And, there is all the other drama around the Princesses, school, and…Oh! Studying.

All leading up to a cliffhanger family reunion, and a epilogue that drops another bombshell regarding Beck and his forced involvement in the family business.

I have to say this second book was a slight disappointment.
Only because It started to fall into the usual RH mould.

By THAT, I mean the author pulls back on the plot to focus more on the Harem element.
So, this book was more about Hadley getting closer with the Princes.

West, and Mason in particular, as she has already started a sexual relationship with Beck, and while she was initially involved with Cam, that relationship was seriously on the skids in this book, with them both agreeing to be in the “friends zone”
( although Hadley wanted more…She ALWAYS wants more)

This meant we were subject to chapter, after chapter of Hadley having sex..Lot and Lots of sex.

You know, the boys playing with her hair, stroking her cheek and jawline, nibbling on the spot behind her ear, the biting of the lower lip, …etc etc.
Lots of fingering by the guys, getting eaten out, Hadley getting wet, squeezing her thighs together…Yada, Yada, Yada.
All leading up to the threesome it’s seems the author could wait to included.

Well, it was on the cards after Emilia’s ( the BF) experiences with rock stars Axel and Jared.

Yep. Emilia, she’s the bubbly best friend , THAT girl, the one who is specifically planted into the storyline in order to get the female lead to attend parties when she’s not interested.
She is also there for beauty, fashion advice , movie and ice-cream nights, and gossipy sessions during meal breaks.

Here’s the problem I have with RH.

When it comes to the female characters, I can’t get my head around how are they emotionally able to switch their feelings so quickly from one gorgeous guy to the next.

We have Hartley, fresh off multiple O’s with Beck, already lusting after Mason, then Cam, THEN West!, within a matter of minutes!!!
Describing her emotional reaction to them almost exactly the SAME way.
She come away from sex with one, and is immediately thinking about sex with the next guy.
Sometimes, it’s just the smell of them that gets her off
( what is it about men’s cologne?)

Then she telling us over & OVER again about how hot their bodies are.

“Any time I’m around him, my body seems to come alive, craving more of him.”
Hartley says this about Cam, but it could apply to any of the guys she is with at the time.
She’s a needy B controlled by her V

Then there is also this comment when she’s with Mason -

“Does he feel the same static charge in the air that I do when he’s nearby?”
But! it could really apply to Any of the guys.

Also.
What kind of girls sit around discussing multiple partner sex like it’s no big deal?
Quite frankly, I’m surprised Hadley has managed to stay so “ tight” down there considering the d***ing she getting.

Hartley is being seduced, not just by the guys but by her desperate NEED to be wanted. She wants her family, whether it’s bio, or the boys.

The guys in these RH stories are ALWAYS broken.
From rich families that probably should haven’t had kids,
Their friends are always their “bro’s”
The girl is ALWAYS just as broken and sets about fixing them.

Same old go to’s

In the next book please can we have more focus on the parents and Nocturnal Ent, You Know…The Plot?

PLEASE can we have this lot of guys NOT all being happy with the RH sharing situation.
Why are they not more jealous? ..Why are they not more territorial with their male egos getting in the way?
I just don’t get these books AT ALL!

Next book lay low on the sex, because it’s already been covered to death in this book, and more on the plot…Thanks

Continuing on from Book 1 Broken Trust.

Hadley and the Princes are back in this Reverse Harem series. If you like suspense, darkness and some heat with your romance then get into this book but make sure you have read book 1 first.

This book is just as intriguing and well written as the first. Again I had to force myself to stop reading it and finished it as quickly as I could. Check your Trigger warnings before reading.

Hadley's world has been rocked by what West found out, she thought her life was messed up before but it only keeps getting more twisted. If she hadn't seen the proof for herself she never would have believed it. Now she has no idea where to go next or what that shithead Hawk is thinking about it all.

Beck is Hadley's strength right now and seems to be the only person to have her back 100% of the time. While what they are doing could get them both in a lot of trouble there is no resisting each other. When his secret comes out will it derail Hadley's trust in him? He can't lose her he's already to caught up in her to let her go without a fight.

Hawk finds out that everything West showed him on paper is true but he still can't figure out how any of it makes any sense. It makes him more angry and confused than he already is about Hadley but now he has to figure out where she will fit in with his life and world.

Cam's anger is consuming him, he hates what he feels for Hadley and wants to know what the hell she wants with him and his father. None of it makes sense and what's worse is how he still reacts around her. He's had enough it's time to get the truth from her, only the truth may wreck him more than the story that he thought up in his head.

West tries to show Hadley that despite how they behave in public there is much more going on even though he can't share it with her he intends to make sure she sees where her life should have been. Whatever she has been through is not how she should have lived. As his perception of her changes so does the relationship between them. West and Hadley can no longer deny their chemistry.

Mason knows what he wants and Hadley is it. He knows exactly how strong she is and despite all that he wants to take care of her and be at her back when she needs it. No matter what is going on with her, Cam, and Hawk he's done standing back. Hadley can be his he just has to show her.

Beck really wishes he never stepped into this world. No matter how much he wanted to know the brother he didn't know about. Now he's stuck in a dangerous world he has no way to get out of. Allies are scarce and despite his connection to the Princes he can't trust them. But for Hadley, he's going to have to get over it.

Hadley is going to need them all. Because her past wants her back and he's going to stop at nothing to get what he thinks is his. Hadley will finally trust the Princes with one of her secrets as they let go of some of their secrets too. They will have to figure out a way to keep Hadley safe and how to save themselves as well.

Ends on a cliffhanger again. You'll be hanging out for book 3. Released: October 11 2021

Happy Reading
Enjoy your next escape.

4.5 ⭐ rounding up because I love the FMC and the entire book gripped me

WOW! This series has totally gripped me and I'm so excited for more! . A FMC who I was totally cheering for and girl-crushing on. Characters written richly layered. A story with so many twists and turns, just buckle-in for the unexpected. Brutal Lies is the second book in new Pacific Prep series - contemporary high school RH with enemies-to-lovers and bully, dark pasts, secrets and twists, told in Multi-POV, which I love for the added depth and connections to these characters - and it picks up right from the ending of the last book.

Nothing is as it seems; there’s so many twists and slow reveal of hints of more for these characters and this story. For every new discovery or reveal, I'd have a dozen new questions. I’m totally hooked and not-so-patiently waiting for the next book.

I am totally in love with Hadley (the FMC). She is everything I love seeing in a FMC - strong, fierce, smart, imperfect, and more than meets the eye. She has a survivor’s spirit, a fighter’s strength, dark pasts and hidden secrets. She’s sassy and sarcastic and made me LOL many times. She’s also smart and observant. She doesn’t let the Princes or other students steamroll her with their bully antics, but she picks her battles and approaches it with more than just sassy attitude backing her. Her relationship with the Princes continues to evolve in this book, each at a different pace and in different ways.

I absolutely love the dynamic and connection building between Hadley and each guy. As expected for enemies-to-lovers angst with dose of bully, there’s a curve from wanting to hit them to wanting to kiss them, and some may have you wanting to do both. The bullying by the guys is basically done, but there is still a lot for them to work through to find their way to be stronger together, be that their own demons or something else.

The steam picks up in this second book along with lots of sizzling chemistry that I can’t wait to see heat up.

I am so excited to see what’s to come for the growth arc for these characters and anticipate broken characters who heal together and formed family tropes, which I absolutely love.

As always R.A Smyth knows exactly how to weave a twisted plot of intrigue that has all the feels and screaming at the pages. I literally couldn’t stop reading and devoured this book in a day. This book picks up straight from where we left off in book one after that bombshell. I loved seeing the different POV’s to all the guys as well as Hadleys once again especially in this book as just so much is going on and there’s so many secrets! Who knows who and what but Hadley is getting those pieces together and with her fierce, sassy ways I’m pretty sure she’s going to be kicking arse (or should I say MORE arse!) in book 3 which I cannot wait for! Hawk really has developed so well in this book for me and though he’s really struggling to overcome his emotions I love how he’s really becoming this strong almost better person because of it. Beck is obviously this soulmate of Hadley its this beautiful deep connection to see. Cam well I just want to pick him up shake him and then hug him… 🖤 Then we have our boys West and Mason… phew now they are really why the #whychoose was created for because come on how can you? 🔥 Honestly this series just gets better and R.A Smyth is an absolute evil genius who has corrupted me and many others to fall in love with these characters and their stories, to laugh and cry with them as she torments them.

I can't even tell you how excited I was to dive into this book. Book one was absolutely brilliant 👏 book two was also amazing 👏 I am soo wrapped up in this world, I'm fully invested. I don't even know where to begin and feel like I'm rambling because my head is still working its way through everything that's happened and is yet to happen!! This books is full of angst, at times I wanted to scream into the book hoping Hadley and the guys would hear me and listen 😂 TALK TO EACH OTHER!! BE HONEST but i guess that's the opposite of the title; Brutal Lies 🤔😂 Some secrets are shared but LOTS are still secret. And once again, we are left with an epic whooper of a cliff hanger, which I definitely didn't see coming!! In this book, I love Mason. But Hawk, he really is a grumpy Teddy bear and I actually love him 🧸😂 im loving watching his relationship with Hadley progress. Cam, my heart is hurting for him in this book. I wish he would pull himself together and be the fun, joking guy we all know and love!! My heart also hurts for West and Beck, I really hope we get to see them form a brotherly bond. Someone please shoot Cam's dad. He makes me feel sick 😤 once again I'm left DYING for the next book. Such a brilliant series 👏 👌

Omg this book I finished in a day, I just could not stop reading! Hadley is such an amazing character and is so strong, I really started to love mason alot more in this book and i already love beck and west! How there relationship progressed in this book was amazing but there all still hiding so many secrets and lies with each other. I was so glad when Hadley finally told the boys the truth and came dad tho but I felt so sorry for cam and all of his emotions! I was so happy when Hawk finally started feeling things for Hadley how a brother should feel!! That ending was such a big cliff hanger and I need to know like now what happens next. Will Hadley be accepted or did her parents send her away, will cam tell Hadley how he feels about her or just let them be friends. Ra smyth you have done yet another amazing book, thank you

Good series so far!

- Well written
- Dark academy RH
- F,M,M,M - so far!
- Suspense / murder / mystery
- Mercenaries / trained fighters
- Dry & sarcastic humour / banter
- Good character development
- Not the steamiest so far but hoping as the books progress they’ll get more spicy

- Different personalities in harem (moody, cocky, nerdy, sassy)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5 Stars
🌶.5 / 3 Steam (so far)

I need the next book immediately!! These endings are breaking my heart (in a good way). I can't say a lot without giving away spoilers, but this book is even better than the first one. We get to find out a little bit more than we did about certain things on both sides and the twists are even bigger. I cannot wait to see what is revealed in the next book. I need more!!
