Just read this with my son. It was very insightful and meaningful to overcome your inner doubts or those who may think you're not as smart as you are. The armpit growing a mouth with teeth was a bit questionable and confusing then it clicked that it was "self doubt" or maybe what mean bullies might say, but besides that weirdness I think it was great. It also incorporates God and confidence within the story, so it's great for believers, maybe not the best book for public classrooms or non-believers, though. I enjoyed this one, and my son had fun reading this. The words on Kindle edition are terribly pixelated and tiny, so when zooming in to read, it's impossible. I'd highly suggest you purchase a physical copy due to that kindle issue, also why this is 4 stars.

I received this book from a Goodreads giveaway. All statements above are my true opinions after fully reading the book.

Great book for kids and adults of all ages! It's about self esteem and being able to speak when your internal voices tell you not to. Will re-read it to my children!

Such a fun and creative read that shows sometimes the bravest acts is not something grand for all to see but ignoring the lies you believe about yourself. This book encourages you to stand up for yourself and see how truly smart and capable you are. Excellent rhyming-like prose, entertaining story, and fun illustrations.

A great book about bravery

Classroom peer pressure is no joke. Whether you are 7 or 47 and going back to school, those lies will try to silence you all the way. I am grateful for books like this that tell people to be brave.
