Pixie Prick
I’m Cleopatra O’Keefe, and I’m tired AF.
In the past year, I’ve managed to keep a pile of unappreciative gods and magicals on track, and now a rogue, full-on-jerk pixie king I didn’t know existed is determined to burn the world—and take me out with it. Normally, I'd see this as a shrug and slug back proposition, but the past year's ginormous battles had a price.
I need a freaking miracle. The entire world is ready for a drink. And that pixie’s gotta go. So far, the cocktails are the only part I’ve got handled. My rock, my forever love, is on the other side of the globe working to help me, but the distance limits what he can do. We’re all in survival’s countdown, but I’m not down for the count. Yet.
The pixie king’s army just blew my safe harbor to smithereens, and everyone I love is at risk.
Time to pour a fat glass of payback.

This series never disappoints. Within two pages I am back in the rhythm of Patra’s whirlwind ducking zingers and chuckling at the snark. This is fun on so many levels. A quick read where the surprises keep coming. Just when I think this series cannot get any better the author proves me wrong. Well done and entertaining.

that being said, I will still be purchasing the kindle edition to support this author. I have voraciously devoured the first three books in the series and highly recommend that they be read prior to reading this book. But-if you are a fan of living dangerously-this could be a stand alone read.
This book provides a much needed positive ending in today's covid tired world. It is a reminder that love can, indeed, solve problems. The story line and characters remain true to type and development. The plot hums along to a very satisfying conclusion. You can't help but see a blond Jason Momoa in a starring role here. A magnificent add to your TBR pile, but i suggest putting it at the top.

I have no idea how this author can fit so much in one book! After a devastating loss, Petra needs to dig deep to find a way to thwart a Pixie King. I enjoyed the intertwining story of the domiclium magicae – elephants are my favorite animal! It was an interesting backstory that ended up being part of the puzzle Petra needed to solve to save the world. I was glad when several of the groups showed their faith in Petra instead of always doubting that she can get the job done. So love the way the story is unfolding!

I'm not sure I've ever read through a series this quickly, but I'm loving these books. Starting the next one right away. These continue to be full of cleverly written snarky humor that also make you think. I don't think book 5 will be any different which is why I'm starting it right away.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review, in an ARC team. I had not read anything written by Winnie Winkle and I was intrigued after reading the description of this book. I am glad I took a chance and read this. It is one of those books that I think you can go back and read over and over. I am now going to start at the beginning of this series and also check into all of her books! I would definitely recommend this book if you are interested in any of things listed in the description - Gods, fairy, paranormal, humor, and most especially if you love snark in a book! Take a chance and read this book -- you won't be sorry!!!!!

This is probably the hardest book of the series to read so far. Patra is facing a new enemy, one unknown to many magicals. Centuries before, the Fae kingdom split when Queen Flitana threw out King Regnault. Unbeknownst to most, Regnault went on to amass a kingdom that became the Pixies. Regnault is hellbent on revenge and doesn’t mind destroying the world to get it. Many of the regular series characters face major changes in the story. Some are fortunate, some are heartbreaking, and the effect of some remains to be seen. Thank goodness the next book in the series is already on my Kindle! I recommend this book and series.

Another great book in the series
I enjoyed the latest book in this series. The story was well written and it's great to see the characters continue to grow. I'm looking forward to the next one.
