Gianna Bianchi reminded me of everything I am not—polite and poised. The perfect mafia princess according to "old school" standards. She was the type of woman you stayed away from, the kind meant to wed the head of a family. I wanted her. I wanted to possess her. Control her. Most of all, I wanted to love her.
Gianna Bianchi
Cian O'Sullivan reminded me of everything I am—possessive and needy. He was the type of man you wrapped your arms around and never let go of, the kind meant to dominate you inside and out. I wanted him. I wanted to be possessed by him. Controlled by him. Most of all, I wanted to love him.
Note:Sinful Desire is book four in the mafia misfits series and can be read as a standalone. This story includes depictions of violence; may be sensitive for some readers.
Cian and Gianna were on my mind since book 2 and seeing how they came together was nice to see! Their love story like Book 2 overlapped the other three books. Cian knew he wanted Gianna and honestly, I was confused why he kept her waiting. Like he didn’t want to fully bring her into his BDSM lifestyle or his role in his family organization. Either way, Gianna sped his little plan up when she helped them at the docks. Now Gianna is a bad Bih! She comes off studious and away from the mafia but she is trained to go and doesn’t tolerate disrespect! Her helping Raven was a touching moment because Raven wasn’t that great of a friend. Gianna handling Avi whew 🔥. All the O’Sullivans were riding with Gianna after that! Mind that plot in the story I felt hit mid-book. Like the story focused mainly on Gianna and Cian and not as much on the things around them. Even the Avian moment became about them with how Gianna handled it! The sceks scenes were good but I’ve read a few BDSM books and it came across as just ok but definitely doesn’t take away from the love story at all! I’m excited for the next book which I think is Violet and Finnegan! Overall a good read and now my second favorite in this series!
I loved Cian and Gianna chemistry and how they didn’t play about each other. I just love this series reading about Black Alpha Male and Females in the mafia. I can say this book didn’t have as much action as the others mostly focuses on the relationship. I wanted to see more of Gianna’s crazy side.
“Scaring you is the last thing I want to do.” She wrapped her arms around me from behind and squeezed. “I’m not scared, Cian.” I shut my eyes and took that in. Had I really met my match?
Yes! I originally I thought it was a betrothal but I think these two chose each other . A perfect match for each other. I enjoyed their chemistry. Nice read.
Since we’ve had this couple hinted to us so much, I really enjoyed that we got to see where they were in the timeline of all the other books. Kinky. Sweet. Protective. They were a delight.
First I must say how much I adore the relationships between the siblings in this series! They get on each others nerves, but are always ready to go to war for each other! Miss Asia this is my favorite misfit couple yet! Their chemistry was sizzling from that first conversation! Cian, was a bit mysterious, intense and calculating! But, he knew for sure that Gianna would be his forever, and did not stray from his pursuit of her! He had already set in motion things for their future, before they had even begun to establish a relationship! Cocky ass! 😂 But, I loved that about him! He was confident and feared nothing or no one! This man had so many layers. He was sweet and smart, but would take someone out in a heartbeat; and not feel a thing! Gianna! LIttle Miss Biachi was so much more than meets the eye. From the outside she looked like a rich socialite while in school, giving away her expensive things without a care. However, Gianna had a huge heart, and was always putting everyone else's needs and wants before herself. But, don't get it twisted. She is still a Biachi, and can get down with the best of them when crossed! When she and Cian got together, it is magic! These two fit together so well, it had to be crafted from above! They went hard for each other, and it was beautiful seeing Gianna be completely vulnerable with Cian and just be! He helped bring her out of her shell, and helped guide her into who she is destined to be! Gianna had a hold on Cian from the moment he laid eyes on her. He knew that she was of the same world, and although hesitant at first, he allowed her in and she made his life better with her love! I enjoyed how they both have some dark elements in them! Gianna shocked me with that scene in Cian's office, damn girl! Can't wait for the next one, to see if Finn has what it takes to break Violet's defenses down! Great read! 👍👍👍
Cian and Gianna were the perfect match. From the point when Cian knew she was the person to call after the incident at their docks. At the beginning I thought Cian was shy but he definitely wasn’t. When the BDSM came into play I was surprised that Gianna was so into it. Cian absolutely spoiled Gianna and he was borderline obsessed. He knew exactly what she wanted and needed. I was worried that Gianna was a people pleaser because of how those chicks were using her. She wanted to help those that weren’t as able to have designer or high priced items as her. She was caring and protective. Enjoyed their story. Waiting for the next one.
When I tell you this series is the gift that keeps on giving!!! Because baby!!! These men in this series didn’t come play about their money, their family and their women and Cian is not different. He is all about Gianna and everything that concerns her. Her goals, aspirations, and all her pleasures!
If you’ve read the other books in this series then you know that Cain and Gianna story has had many Easter eggs and hints dropped throughout the previous three books. In this book, you get to see Cain and Gianna relationship develop during the events of the first three books. Yes you can read this book as a standalone but I believe you would get more out of it if you read the books in order. This story starts off with Gianna studying for her finals when her friend walks in and invite her to a party hosted by the O’Sulivans. Begrudgingly, Gianna agrees to go but when she gets there she’s met with the man whom she wants to take his last name, Cian O’Sulivan.
Oh @__ayemonique took this one up a notch!!! Because Cian!!!! Oh he’s a bdsm, consent, don’t mind the woman taking the lead KING!!!! This man had me ready to see if I can push my own limits because the way he walk and talk Gianna through everything was top tier. Now don’t get me wrong Luca is still my man but I can respect the tension, chemistry, relationship, and soulmate dynamic Cian and Gianna shared!
Book 4 and again guess the trope Instant love/LUST The dude was obsessed with her for like 4 year which I mean hot and was literally building a house for her which again husband( building a house for someone you barely know is kinda... what if they don't like it, what if she doesn't like the location, many what ifs)
Remember when Lucia said Gianna was some enigma blah blah. Well she's not. Just a regular college girl.
This book gets on my nerves because I was really looking forward to reading it and figuring out Gianna and all I got was nothing, Literally NADA. Sex, sex, sex. The dude couldn't say anything about the girl without sexualizing her ugh...
oh: "Gianna doesn't go to parties, so let me ask my brother to throw a party so I can meet her there" HUH??
PLOT??
So yeah this book was disappointing to say the least Secret marriage my a**
I won’t lie I was kind of disappointed in this one. The way in which there was so much mystery around Gianna and her relationship with Cain from book 1 I was expecting so much more. But instead I just got insta love vibes because other than sex why else did these 2 people live each other? They just saw each other knew they wanted each other and then they were in love? No absolutely not.
I enjoyed Cian and Gianna’s stress-free romance. Even though this has some of the gratuitous violence you expect from a mafia romance, it was also pretty sweet and adorable how loved up the main couple were and how unafraid and unashamed they were of showing it kinks and all with vulnerability to each other. This had slight YA vibes. Overall, I enjoyed this- perhaps not as much as the first two books in this series, but the couple communication was excellent, the family relationships were a delight and you were really rooting for this couple. If I had one complaint, it was that there was no real, strong plot- it wasn’t boring or anything and there was some action, but this was very character-based and very much focused on Gianna and Cian’s relationship, making it just as well that they’re both really likeable and the reader is rooting for them throughout. One note is that this was somewhat kinky but I don’t think as a romance this gets into the erotic lane at all if that’s a preference or concern. It was spicy but not “faintingly” so… (at least I didn’t think so YMMV). I mention this because the author does have a warning up front. Love this series, excited for what’s next.
While I've enjoyed all the books so far, this is my favorite. I know the girls love Luca but it's Cian for me. The level of love he had for Gianna was chefs kiss. To be clear, I love the way all the men in this series love their women. However, the way Cian loves Gianna hits a bit different. It was quite literally love at first sight for the both of them. They're true blue soul mates. Normally I'm not an insta love person but I loved it for this story and this couple. Asia hasn't let me down yet with this series and I can't wait to read more.
Cian O. O’Sullivan did not come to play or disappoint and I’m here for it. BDE for the entire story and I loved him for it. I also adored how he so treasured Gianna. I thought for a moment that she would be a whiny MFC, but she did stand ten toes down overall. No spoilers just a great read
My goodness you all, this one had extra, extra, extra sexiness between this couple. Gianna and her sharp tongue was just the amount of spice to be in a relationship with Cian. The story also had that gangster vibe too. The Mafia backstory did what it is supposed to do in this tale. A good 4.75 read...
This is the second best book in the series so far. The BDSM aspect added a really nice touch but also I loved the relationship between the characters. He was coming hard behind her from the beginning .
I have thoroughly enjoyed this Black mafia romance series. Although, no book has topped book 2 about the love between Luca and Galina. This one was my least favorite but still enjoyable. If you are a fan of BDSM you will enjoy this story about Cian and Gianna. The two are drawn to each other and have a mutually passionate love for each other. Their understanding and respect for one another is unmatched. I will definitely continue the series.
I am quite disappointed in this book😭 I really enjoyed the first 3 but this book just felt like a repetition. I don't know if I have missed a book or 2 but this book is so…. like their relationship is so rushed and unbelievable??? This is essentially a sex book sorry, no substance no character growth, just sex and cliché sentences! All the books are becoming the same, just different main characters and slightly different personalities. I really wished Cian had some more mystery to him and I feel like their relationship happened too fast. In the other books it eluded that there was something juicy happening but no it was just sex between them. Sooo disappointed and don’t get me started on Gianna. I really couldn’t stand both of them idk why it was so hard to enjoy it. Every time they had sex I would sigh and say “again!?”
5/5✨ 5/5🌶️ I loved Cian and Gianna chemistry and how they didn't play about each other. I just love this series reading about Black Alpha Male and Females in the mafia. I can say this book didn't have as much action as the others mostly focuses on the relationship. I wanted to see more of Gianna's crazy side.

When she and Can got together, it is magic! These two fit together so well, it had to be crafted from above! They went hard for each other, and it was beautiful seeing Gianna be completely vulnerable with Can and just be! He helped bring her out of her shell, and helped guide her into who she is destined to be! Gianna had a hold on Can from the moment he laid eyes on her. I love Gianna and Cian characters, I loved the hot Intimate scenes, and their chemistry. I love how this author can write a GREAT love story without the adults acting childish, being insecure, playing games, and know how to communicate with each other !
Thank you for writing female characters that can be dominate and not damsels with men who match energies, it’s possible to write a Alpha male and female and you proved it multiple times !! This author is definitely a fav for me .
I only wish there was a little bit more action where we could have seen a little more of the dark side of Both characters , we got a taste of it but it would have been nice to see more, especially Gianna. Gianna was a savage like the other women in this series but she seem to be more of the brains of the operation instead of the muscle (because she a pretty bi**h ) which is great she could do both but I would have loved to see her show off her intelligence more against a enemy as well as her fighting skills .
If the women in this series continue being these intelligent , strong , kick a** women I can easily see this being my all time favorite series ! Can’t wait to read the next
Cian and Gianna were always on the others mind from their first encounter. He was preparing for her before they even spoke and she fantasized about him since the beginning. He had family obligations and she was figuring out her purpose in the world. They enjoyed everything together even their preference of sex. So this was my least favorite story because I felt it didn’t fully live up to all of the eluding done regarding Gianna and her tattoo and her involvement with Cian. They got the tattoos on a drunken night together - I thought there would be more to that experience instead of a drunken night. They’re sneaking around but everyone knew. They had kinky sex - ok. I guess I expected more from them separately and together which would be in line with all of the other characters. And why are all of these people getting married in small weddings without their close knit families and friends they love so much not being present? All this rushing. I understood it for Akira and Matteo because get married before she changed her mind or at least a small wedding. The book was written well it just fell a little flat for me so I took off a star.
I think this author gets better with each new book in this series. I loved the connection and love and chemistry between Gianna and Cian. They both knew the other was their person from their first meeting and worked to learn about each other until they came together. Once they came together, they were inseparable and became each other’s best friend and family. I loved that Cian affirmed Gianna and told her to let her light shine and not hide for anyone, family included. I loved that Gianna felt so comfortable with Cian that she could remove her mask and be her true self. Their love was beautiful and timeless. My only complaint about the story was not getting a backstory on the black Irish family like we received with the Bianchi’s and Moretti’s but the lack of backstory did not take away from my enjoyment of this book. Outside of handling family business, this book focused solely on the connection and relationship being built by Cian and Gianna and getting them to their happily ever after with plenty spice between them. I look forward to what is to come from the rest of this series and this author.
I have mixed feelings about this book. I love the writing style because it is super easy to read and addictive. I swear to god these books have a chokehold on me and I must finish them in less than a day. They also aren't the best books in the world though. Some things are cheesy, but despite that, it is a fun, light mafia series.
Gianna and Cian were the most forgettable couple in this series. Cian was a carbon copy of the other heroes. He was a copy paste of several of the other guys which was annoying. I mean, I love that he spoils Gianna and buys her a whole ass house, but dude, if you didn't tell me his name I'd think that he was another character.
I did enjoy how focused this book was on the relationship rather than a ton of mafia action. I love political mafia books, but with this being 200 pages, there wasn't time for the nitty gritty mafia politics which honestly, I didn't mind. If a book is as short as this I would rather just read about the couple.
Also, I swear to god if I read a woman's vagina being described as her essence, I will cry. That is all.
I am sorry but Cian & Gianna were my favourite of the series so far. I absolutely loved this book, I loved them & the chemistry they had.
I loved how they were both fearless in loving one another. One thing about Cian, he saw Gianna once and said bet i’ll give her everything even if she’s not mine… AND HE DID!
This was also such a sexy read, one thing about Asia Monique, if she says she’s going to give you a sexy sensual read, it is going to be just that! It definitely was a more sensual book, some may find it triggering but I thought it made this book all the more enjoyable.
I liked that we got to see the Bianchi family dynamic more, the big brothers & little sister role as well as the proper introduction to the O’Sullivans who I think are a great addition may I add.
liked this one better than the last one and gianna and cian are so meant to be i loved them!! still insta lovey but i just fell in love with them and their chemistry and their closeness and everything about them that i don't really care, they can be so damn cute and at the same time so damn sexy i truly loved this book and had so much fun!! i think they might be my fave couple but still luca and lina are up there for sure as my fave couple and fave book!! so excited and intrigued to read finn and violet's story ehehe loving this series so much it's just a quick fast paced spicy romance stories with powerful and badasa women with hearts of gold and with badass men who will do anything they can and more to protect the ones they love and also these women can also kill you if they need to so go read it!!
This series just keeps getting better and better! I just love how these strong men love these strong beautiful women and don’t feel a type of way, because they’re independent and don’t need them to find their identity in them. I just love how these strong men love they women beautifully in the streets and behind closed doors! Then I found the bonus chapter and it was what I needed to go to the next book.
If you looking for ANY tea on this book or the series, you gonna have to read it for yourself and I promise you won’t be disappointed, feel let down because you felt like you wasted your time by reading a chapter. But, you will feel whole and excited for the next book and so on! Happy Reading for the newbie’s!
I’m a Asia Monique stan and have been enjoying the Maria Misfit series. They are always quick to read and full of big personalities. However, this one left more to be desired. There was so much mystery surrounding Gianna in the other books that I expected there to be a huge blowup when it came out that she and Cian were together. Instead it was “oh ok, cool.” I was also confused for so long about HOW they ended up together. Did he literally see her years ago and was just like “yeah I love her”. Sighs. I hope that there’s more mafia business in the other books because there wasn’t *much* action in this one.
