This book is really a handbook. Read it only if you have finished Guilty Pleasures first because you'll find a summary of the story as well as character descriptions.

Standard guidebook, not the best not the worst, the art is decent and it was written by Hamilton.

With this handbook it was really easy to follow Anita Blake.....

Oh, fine!!! I just wanted to know how Claude looks like! He's hot. Plus, now I know how wererat looks like.

Ever since I read Kate Daniels, I've been curious how wererat looks like... Now I don't want to know anymore. Stupid curiosity.

2.5 stars. Honestly? I don't see the use of this...

Basically this 'book' sums up the story of the first book in the Anita Blake series. This is done by repeating the same story from the point of view from EVERY character. It doesn't really add anything, especially if you have a decent memory and remember the first book. It didn't really add anything to the series. Maybe if you have forgotten what happened in the first book and you don't want to reread it this is an option but other than that, I think it would be a waste of money.
