En este libro Debra Glass se anotó un hit. He de decir que el tema BDSM en la actualidad en algunos sectores aún se considera tabú, ahora aterrizar este escenario en 1838 es un gran reto. En esta historia tenemos un típico matrimonio por conveniencia, muy usual en la época, a lo que sumamos unos poco usuales gustos sexuales, que ademas se suman a una restrictiva educación y tenemos a Patience, una protagonista temerosa de sus deseos y desconocedora de su propia sexualidad. En este camino de conocimiento juega un rol increíblemente importante el apoyo de James, quien poco a poco fue descubriendo el origen de los miedos de su esposa.
Mas que erotica o BDSM, este libro trata del autodescubrimiento de las pasiones y las limitaciones que puede crear la sociedad en temas polemicos o tabú.

As with all of Ms. Glass’s stories, I finished Having Patience a thoroughly satisfied reader and I cannot wait to see what new tale Ms. Glass delivers next!

Parte de que leyera este libro fue porque estaba en mi book jar y pues fue el que me tocó, pero no por eso significa que lo disfruté o que tuviese muchas ganas de leerlo y no es que sea como tal un libro porque son pocas páginas que se leen en menos de 2 horas, pero el contenido simplemente se me hizo muy tonto y poco coherente :S
Es una fortuna que esté súper corto porque de ser más largo no sé qué habría hecho y aún así hubo algunas cosas que me salté, pero porque me pareció una historia que no ofrece nada nuevo y que se queda en el limbo de "es erotismo" pero algunas cosas incluso son medio degeneradas, no encontré coherencia en el hecho de que Patience confiara en algunas cosas y para otras no dijera nada, pero la idea de decepcionar a su marido pues no ¿? WTF
Realmente me cuesta seguir el paso de estas historias en donde de la nada se hacen expertas en todo lo que tenga que ver con la intimidad, por el momento creo que no voy a leer historias así y por lo mismo no la recomiendo.

Buku Debra Glass yang ke 2, setelah suka sama buku pertama yang dibaca, semangat cari buku DG yang lain, terpilihlah buku ini, karna covernya keren terus sinopsisnya menarik. Cerita singkatnya nama Heroinenya Patience emang cocok sih butuh kesabaaaraaaan banget menghadapinya. Untungnya suaminya James super sabar, baik etc...ternyata ohg ternyata Patience dulunya dididik sama guru private yang salah "ngajar", dan cenderung membuat trauma Patience hingga takut untuk "intim" dengan suaminya. Sebetulnya aku suka cara DG membuat alur cerita, tapi Patience agak terlalu "berani" untuk ukuran wanita yang blm menikah.. tapi dari segi cerita ngk bosenin dan sangat menghibur, walau ada adegan pintu belakang wakakakaka

All the stories by Ms. Glass have really well written BDSM scenes. The only problem I have with this story is that the hero seems to be a bit too abrupt. *Shrugs* I like the Dom/Sub play, but he just seems to take it a bit too far for me.

It was good the sex was great, the only thing is i did not like how easily james forgave her, should had to work for it, I really liked james character he was the perfect man =) hot and sweet

Do not read the prologue. Finding out what happened to Patience in her childhood, takes away the suspense.
