There are some really good images here, but unfortunately there's just as many really bad ones, and then lots more "bleh" ones. I actually went through and graded each image (out of 5) the average was a 3. The good ones are really good though, so I'd suggest going through it yourself and see if those are worth the price to you.

The preliminary sketches are incredibly basic and don't really have a "feel" to them. So I don't imagine they'd be very helpful to beginning artists.

Also at least two of the artists need to take some life drawing lessons--yikes! However there are some progress shots by one artist (the strongest artist) showing his colouring process that may be of interest.

it is an adequate book on manga. won't really give you much assistance but it has some merit as a reference book.
