Friends Daniel, Six, Holder, Sky, and Breckin are planning to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday with a Friendsgiving dinner at Sky's parents' house.
But things have been off within the tightknit group and when Daniel reaches out to Six to ask the hard questions he hasn't dared to bring up since they last spoke about their shared secret, he's dismayed to learn that it's this very secret bringing a cloud over the holiday. Suddenly, Daniel must do everything he can to find answers for the one person he loves the most in the world, but will this search only lead to despair.
The #1 New York Times bestselling Hopeless series continues with this heartwarming conclusion that illustrates the power of following a difficult journey to discover what happens next.
This felt like a closure and a beginning. It was heartwarming and heartbreaking. It felt like everything my heart needed! Seeing these characters again was beyond emotional. I was crying through the majority of the book and at some point I couldn’t tell whether they were happy or sad tears.
Finding Perfect is a 9 chapter novella. You must have read Finding Cinderella and All Your Perfects. Also some characters from Hopeless are in this story. So you will get more enjoyment if you've read that series. But it's not required.
The narrator is Daniel (1st person POV). And the story focuses on Daniel and Six who are now in their first semester of college. It is Thanksgiving time and they are home from school.
This was such a great story. I don't want to spoil anything. But I was crying throughout. A certain character was mentioned near the beginning So my heart started beating really fast.
Spoiler thoughts:
This novella was amazing. I am so happy that Coho wrote this story. What a wonderful gift to her readers.
“Med school is complicated. Relationships are easy. You love a person, they love you back. If that’s not how your relationship is, you end it. Simple.” - Hannah
🎅🏼🎁
“I’m a dad, but I’m not. And Six is a mom, but she’s not. And we thought it would be okay and we’d be able to move past it, but we can’t. She’s sad all the time. And because she’s sad all the time, I’m sad all the time. And when we’re together, we’re double sad.” - Daniel Wesley
🎄⭐️
“If you weren’t completely terrified right now, I would be convinced that we aren’t the right parents for this child, because becoming a parent should be the most terrifying thing to ever happen to a person.” - Graham Wells
daniel and six arent my favourite CoHo characters, even if i do find their story/situation touching. but graham and quinn?? oh my goodness. i had no idea their lives were connected in such a meaningful way. such a sweet and heartfelt conclusion, giving some much appreciated closure, to two stories. <3
If you’ve read ‘Finding Cinderella’ and ‘All Your Perfects by this author, this story will mean so much to you. Daniel is 100% my favorite CoHo hero and I was so excited to read more of his story. I sobbed through so much of this, but by the end I was smiling so big. This one really was perfect!
Boże chyba najpiękniejsze opowiadanie ze wszystkich. Tak idealnie połączone z niewiarygodnie przepięknym „Wszystkie nasze obietnice”. Plak po prostu. Kocham kocham kocham kocham kocham
Featuring ~ single 1st person POV, teenagers, teen pregnancy, adoption, under 100 pages
Back in 2020 when I read Hopeless, Losing Hope, Finding Cinderella and All Your Perfects I really enjoyed them and 4~5 starred em all. (BTW ~ they really need to be read in this order in case you weren't aware.) I think I waited too long to read this last part because I am at a different mind space now.
Told solely in Daniel's POV regarding how Six gave their baby up for adoption without him knowing. He sees that Six is unhappy and really wants to rectify this and I love how he did so. For most of the book he's really immature and makes multiple derogatory comments though, so that really turned me off. Overall, a quick read that wrapped the series up perfectly.
Side note ~ "The one time we had sex was honestly the best sex I've ever had" ~ umm, seriously? you're like 17 and I can't recall, but perhaps this was your first time, so sure it's prob the best you've had if it's the only you've had. And hopefully you've got a whole buncha more action coming your way in the future when you're more mature.
Honestly started reading this because it was a short book for my good reads books of 2020 challenge . I take these things very seriously 😂
This is my 6th coho book but the first one that made me cry. But happy tears mixed up with sad tears. Weird I know but that's how emotional it made me. I was beginning to think there was something seriously wrong with me with my no coho tears situation😁
I don't want to do a spoiler but when her past characters come together it was unexpected especially because I knew who they were. I loved that I got the connection. My memory is crap but I remembered them.
If you don't read the other books this one wouldn't be very good. Hopeless, all your perfects finding cinderella then this one. I know they suggest losing hope but I didn't read that one it wasn't necessary to enjoy them. I didn't feel like I was lost or anything at all. all the way 5 stars. I just love this author!
Things a short novella that I read in one sitting. I'm a rebel, and it does say at the start of the book that you needed to have read previous books in the series well I didn't but it made sense as stand alone and its a very emotional read. Perfect
Absolutely LOVED this! It truly gave me some closure from the rest of the books. I love that it gave them closure as well. This was a really short book, quick read but absolutely worth it! It was packed with everything we wanted to see happen.
this novella was absolute perfection and the ending that i didn’t know that i needed. i absolutely loved all your perfects. the story, the characters, and the issue is revolves around are so dearly important to me. seeing everything come full circle with the characters form hopeless and all your perfects was so wonderful. i read this is one sitting and absolutely could not put it down. i didn’t think a 90 page book could get me crying, but coho never fails to make me tear up. i loved every single piece of this.
“true love exists and the people in this house are proof of that.”
The perfect compliment to All Your Perfects and Finding Cinderella. If you have read both those, (and enjoyed them) this is an absolute must read. If you have this is a big spoiler.
- This novella was somewhat necessary, but I wish that more things had actually happened within the story. I wish they had more time to connect with the person this story is centered around. I didn’t realize that all your perfects is connected to this story so I definitely plan on reading that next. - This book felt really serious in comparison to the other books about Six & Daniel. I found myself having a hard time connecting with the characters when they had such a different relationship dynamic in the last few books. - Would have enjoyed having this book focus on how the college experience has been for then along with the wrap up with Graham and Quinn. Would have made the book have a much more well rounded feel instead of solely focusing on one thing. I do think the novella was needed to tie up some loose ends and overall I’m glad that I picked this up!
was this the most complexity written, poetic book ever? no. did it bring me a crazy amount of comfort and closure? absolutely.
i loved this novella for what it was.. more content on characters i adore, with a beautiful focus on seven and daniel finally connecting with their baby. i would never have expected ‘all your perfects’ and ‘hopeless’ to tie together the way they did, but it was stunning and executed perfectly. it gave me all the feels- from aching sadness to heartwarming joy.
i adored and appreciated the delicate portrayal of adoption, encompassing both the beauty and pain that comes with it. it couldn’t have been done with more care and depth.
i miss this universe already. miss colleen really knows how to tug on our heartstrings.
Daniel and Six are secondary characters from the Hopeless / Losing Hope books.
They have their own spin-off story in Finding Cinderella and now concluding in this book. Finding Perect wraps up a piece of their story about a time that happened when they first met. Currently, they are in college.
Finding Perfect is a novella told in Daniel's pov.

This features all of our favourite characters from the Hopeless series but is really all about Daniel and Six. Daniel is determined to give Six what she needs to find closure and happiness over what has happened in the last 12 months.
I had tears in my eyes at the end but they were happy love filled tears.
I could've easily read a full-length story about these characters! This was a great way to catch up with them and learn answers I'd been curious about since reading All Your Perfects and Finding Cinderella. I love it when authors do tie-ins like this one!
