Straight Guys #2

Just a Bit Obsessed

Rate this book
Alexander Sheldon likes order and control in his life. He isn’t happy when his girlfriend invites another guy for a threesome. Alexander believes in monogamy, and he’s never been good at sharing his things. It doesn’t help that Christian rubs him the wrong way from the beginning.

But what starts as animosity turns into something else. Something unexpected and very wrong.

He was never supposed to touch Christian. He was never supposed to feel possessive of the guy. And he most definitely wasn’t supposed to want Christian more than he wants his girlfriend.

It’s a recipe for disaster.

Note: This book contains some M/F/M sex and graphic language.

Seventh re-read: 27.03.2021
I have an unhealthy obsession with this series. Alec got nothing on me. Ps: I've updated the "quick basic facts".
New rating: 3.5/3 stars.

Sixth re-read: 23.11.2020
Don't give me that look, I couldn't help it. Enough said.

Fifth re-read: 20.02.2020
You know, I shouldn't be blamed for my unhealthy obsession with this series. I truly shouldn't. It's the author's fault. Yeah. Mhmmmmmmmmmm. Fuck me. I need to stop.

Fourth re-read: 04.11.2019
I know, I know, I know, don't give me that look. I just needed something quick and easy to read to pass the time before going to sleep and it had to be something I knew I liked, so it became this one. I kinda wanted to re-read book one but I just re-read it a short time ago... Anyways, I so want more of Christian and Alexander. They are hot and I want to see Alec fully showing what's behind that mask of his. One book isn't enough.

Third re-read: 09.08.2019
I'm obsessed with this series. I almost hate myself for keeping (is that the right word?) coming back to it. I also hate that I know I could've absolutely L O V E this series if each book was long and had more depth. I need to see each couple as a couple. Anyways, I'm guessing it won't be long before I'm back to re-reading it again.

Second re-read: 25.01.2019
I couldn't help it. Maybe I'm just a bit unhealthy obsessed with this series. There's just something with it that pulls me in. But I really, really, wish the author would write a sequel for each couple so you can see how they properly are as a couple since every books ends with them becoming a couple and not further. So strange though, how I like the books more every time I read it...
New Rating: 3.5 stars

Re-read: 17.10.2018
I'm gonna say that same I said for the first book's re-read; it should've had more depth. We never really get to know Christian and we barely know Alec. There should be a sequel to each couple. I'm seriously, this is like a prequel for the main characters and you end up desperately needing more. I do need more.
“And I mean everything. From gazing at him sappily to wanting to rub my come into his skin and make him stink of me inside and out.”

OTHER CHARACTERS:
Mila Bursell, Alec's girlfriend of two years.
Jared Sheldon (30), Alec's cousin and closest friend.
Erica, Alec's secretary.
Edward Sheldon, Alec's father.
Tanya, Alec's mother.
→ Christian's grandma who I don't know the name of. Was it even mentioned?
Shawn Wyatt, Christian's best friend. Professor Derek Rutledge, his boyfriend.

First read review:
What's with the fast endings in this series? I feel like we get no real closure at all. The book centers around Christian ‘Chris’ Ashford (20) and owner of a small company that provides translation and linguistic validation services, Alexander ‘Alec’ Sheldon (27). Alexander is really what you would call a perfect man/boyfriend; meaning he is always calm, patient, ect. Well, that is until his girlfriend suggest a threesome with someone who enjoys getting on Alexander's nerves, to make him tick. Then it's of course the part where Alexander wants Christian more than his girlfriend... Overall, I liked it, yet, again, something was missing. Just like the last book.
“Sometimes love isn’t pretty. It’s not neat, and it’s not textbook perfect. There’s no template for love. Sometimes it’s dirty. Sometimes it’s a bit creepy. And sometimes it hurts.”

I freaking enjoyed this one even more than book 1. 😎 The secret is not to take them seriously, just go with the flow. So far the flow is amazing.

Alexander is one hot, possessive man. 😍😍

Christian is freaking adorable. 😍😍

Mila was ok but she should have been gone by the end of chapter 1.

The sex scenes are freaking hot 🔥 🔥 🔥. Damn this woman can write sex scenes.

Onto book 3. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️

I am going to keep this real short since I have to be up at 4:30 am. I really liked this book. I liked the last one better, but this one was still really good. I loved Alexander. I was so glad he dumped his dumb ass girlfriend for Christian. It really bothered me that Mila kinda pushed Alexander into the threesome when he didn't want it. I am cool with doing anything sexual with your partner as long as both are cool with it. It was clear Alexander didn't want a threesome, but Mila didn't care because she wanted to sleep with Christian. It also really bugged me that she broke the rules of the threesome and invited Christian to come back without even asking Alexander first. I felt it was super selfish of her and I think she got what she had coming. Christian and Alexander had major chemistry and raw passion. I was a little disappointed that when they finally get together without Mila the book ends. Overall a good read. I don't think I want to read the next book but book 5 sounds good! I think I will skip around a little.

Back again for more Straight Guys madness, this time MMF style! You know what that means...

SRAL is always on the hunt for good MMF (I read MF and don't mind if a vagina pops up in my MM romance. Not a big deal. *shrugs*)

Side bar: I'm tired of over glorified MFM that gets the MMF tag. Ugh, you know the ones. The girl is the central piece of the triangle and the men barely do anything together, maybe a blowjob--and that's it. When I come to read MMF, I want equal fuck times between the dudes and their lady. I like my triads equilateral, bay-bee. Fuck that isosceles bullshit.

I'm reading this series in order, and though each book can be read as a standalone, I'm enjoying getting to read the followup of the previous couple in each book as I progress. And if you don't know...I'm here for PROFESSOR DEREK RUTLEDGE. I'd sit on his face any day.

LOL and in this book in the professor's update, they mention him being discreet. Um, have they remembered Just a Bit Twisted? And their sloppy antics? No? Probably too busy feeding the D into Shawn... But I digress.

"Just a Bit Obsessed" was a different kind of MMF, for me. It was DICK-centric. The lady parts weren't graphic or detailed...at all.

Whoa.

This was essentially MM...F.

I didn't know what to do with myself. I mean other than eye fuck this book because this author seems to sprinkle her pages with some sort of magics *cough*guilty pleasure territory*cough* that I just need to consume the words.

Christan, bisexual BFF to Shawn aka the sloppy student from book #1, is invited to be a third in his classmate Mila and her boyfriend, Alexander's sex games. For a night, definitely. More, maybe? Christian is a hot commodity. Everyone wants to fuck him. Except straight boy Alexander, who only agreed to the threesome to keep his girlfriend happy.

Dude...even I knew this wasn't going to work out.

Mila was like Jillian from Family Guy.

Seriously.

She was dumb. And an annoyance. There the three of them were and she'd speak, and ruin the scene. Let Christan get his back blown out, Mila! Shut up, sit in the corner and watch Alex's big cock slam Christian into next week please. Zipper-de-lips. She brought nothing to the table. I don't know what anyone saw in her. I think the author was aiming for that. I hope so because nothing brought me greater joy then when

Alexander was emotionally suppressed and "straight". He didn't want anything to do with Christian. Christian was supposed to be the sex toy in the threesome equation, which I can dig it if all parties understand their place before fuck times commence. Nothing worse than having a third catch...feelings.

But you know what happened right? All of that contained emotion needed the right person to make it crack. And guess who did that?

Christian, our happy bottom! (Who really loved to bottom)

"What are you thinking about right now?"
Alexander looked at his smiling lips. His tone was completely casual as he said, "That I want to feed you my cock."

*quelts*

Emotion wise...I think "Twisted" might have been slightly stronger. This didn't have cheating (boo!) but reading Alexander lose himself and become obsessed over Christian had the same sort of feeling. And just when I would think I could figure out the next move in this weird sex triangle that turned into something more, it went a different route.

I do enjoy that the men became friends of sorts, loved the possessiveness even when Alexander didn't know he was doing it (the best parts)!

The story has it faults - mostly not exploring Alexander reciprocating to Christian. Christian gave more that he got...I'm hoping for a glimpse into their future in the next book. The author does give some background to both men, on why they are the way they are. But it could have been pushed further, Christian slept around, didn't want to form attachments? Why? Alexander had a harsh home life and was afraid of love? He struggled...but those hard to emote types can take a while. He came around...a little quick, no?

Overall, I really liked the ending, wanted more. There is a HEA and surprisingly this wasn't PWP. There is a plot and not saturated with sex.

AND I AM ALL ABOUT BOOK #3! I AM SOOOOOOOOOO THERE because that pairing...*stares* just the sliver given in this book...it seems that that pairing could have my fave C's I am there with cement shoes. Soon, darlings...soon,Gabriel & Jared.

Me and this book did not have a love at first sight thing going on. I really needed some time to get into it.

My biggest issue was that I truly didn’t like the characters or their interactions at first, so therefore I couldn’t connect with the story at all…
Fortunately, I eventually did warm up to them a little, especially when they were being more tender, caring and vulnerable.

Surprisingly, I didn’t mind the girlfriend or the MMF plotline; it was really nothing more than a plot device, serving as an opening for a flood wave of some great jealousy scenes.

In the end, I couldn’t help but love their obsession for each other. Seriously, these guys were obsessed, and I was eating that shit up.
Their complete and utter infatuation was what truly made this book for me!

The ending could have, once again, been better, though.

Although this book was fast-paced and addictive, there were parts that I found difficult to follow. It was an emotional rollercoaster. I finished the book in one sitting, which speaks to how gripping it was, but there were definite frustrations along the way.

First, the way Alexander's girlfriend was treated left a bad taste in my mouth. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for her. She was reduced to being just a plot device, even though I loved how they ignored her during sex, which increased the tension and intensity between Alexander and Christian. When she was cruel to Christian, the author seemed to paint her as horrible, but realistically, how would anyone react if their partner ignored them and fell in love with someone else? She deserved better than being a supporting character in their budding romance, and I felt awful for her. That said, she also created her own problems by forcing Alexander into a threesome, knowing full well he was uncomfortable with it.

Another issue was that the relationship between the two main characters felt centered only on sex, which is a common theme in this series. Beyond their intense sexual chemistry, they don’t seem to know each other. It’s all about their physical connection, and I wish we could have seen more emotional depth.

I kept hoping that Christian would start dating someone else just to make Alexander jealous. Though we got a taste of that when Christian kissed Jared, I wanted much more. I wanted to see Alexander truly fight for Christian, to feel that gut-wrenching jealousy and realize the depth of his feelings. It felt like a missed opportunity.

That being said, I loved their mutual obsession. It’s what kept me glued to the pages. The intensity of their desire and fixation on one another is something Alessandra Hazard does so well, and it was addictive. Even though their relationship was mostly driven by lust, the tension between them was palpable.

Overall, this book was incredibly addictive. It was tense, fast-paced, and captivating, but I couldn’t ignore the issues with the characters and their relationships. If you're looking for something to keep you turning the pages, this book won’t disappoint, but don’t expect much beyond the surface

Pre-Read:

I want to get back to reading 25+ books a month, and I can't do that by reading only fantasy. So, I'm going to try getting back into reading MM romances, which means reading Alessandra Hazard's books. Say what you want about this author's works, but her books are the best cure for a reading slump. I skipped this when I first started reading the series because of the woman on the cover. I'm not interested in reading an MMF romance, but someone told me the primary focus is on the relationship between Alexander and Christian, and while there might be a female character present, she doesn't play a central role in the romantic dynamic. So, we'll see if that's true or not.

Just a Bit Obsessed is book two in the Straight Guys series by Alessandra Hazzard. This one has some MFM scenes as well as some MMF scenes. I loved this one. I loved watching these two struggle a bit before figuring things out.

We first met Christian Ashford in the previous book as Shawn’s best friend. He’s about twenty years old and is beautiful, both inside and outside. Everyone loves him. He’s bi-sexual and loves a good time, well known for his player ways. Christian believes in love, it just hasn’t happened for him yet, so why not enjoy himself until it does. Then his friend, Mila, invites him to be in a threesome with her and her boyfriend. A boyfriend Christian has been crushing on from a distance for quite a while. Mila’s very straight boyfriend.

Alexander Sheldon is twenty seven years old, owns his own company and has been dating Mila for two years. Alexander is an expert at living behind his mask. At only allowing his calm and collected demeanor to show. He likes his life to be orderly at all times. Then his girlfriend asks him if they can bring in a third, just for some fun. Alexander has never been attracted to a man, ever. But when Christian walks through the door, everything changes.

These two started out pretty bumpy. We’ll just say that Alexander had a pretty bad case of denial. Watching all those walls tumble down was so much fun. Watching Christian struggle to figure things out was also fun. He just couldn’t figure out why he couldn’t stay away. I can’t say I liked Mila that much but by the end, I liked her a little better. I also enjoyed meeting Alexander’s cousin, Jared, who is in the next book, Just a Bit Unhealthy. I love this series so much and am feeling just as obsessed as I did after finishing the previous book.

Re-read 11/20 2017 Still a great series and I can't wait for the next book to get published :P

3-5-star-rating-black-hi.png (600×113)

I skipped this book at first, when I started reading this series. The reason why, is because I am very demanding/weird, when it comes to MMF books. But since I liked the other books in this so much, I figured I would just give it a try, and I ended up really enjoying this one.

18531202.gif (500×300)

We've met Christian in book 1, but this one can be read as a stand alone. Christian is bi, he likes men better than women, and he has a little crush on the boyfriend of one of his fellow students.  When said student, Mila, asks him to join her and her boyfriend in a threesome...Christian of course is very excited.

I'm So Down! GIF - Tenor GIF Keyboard - Bring Personality To Your Conversations | Say more with Tenor

Alexander has been in a relationship with his girlfriend Mila, for 2 years. When Mila asks him to have a threesome with another man, he is reluctant, but he agrees because he wants to be a good boyfriend. He doesn't like the idea of sharing Mila, but he´s not exactly jealous either. He doesn´t do jealousy and he wants Mila to experience everything she wants.

The first time the three of them get together, for said threesome, things are a bit weird. Alexander knows that Christian is bi, but he has no interest in playing with him.  This is supposed to be all about Mila after all. Christian is a bit dissapointed, that he doesn't get to play with Alexander, but just being close to the man, gets him all hot and bothered, so....that's something at least.

tumblr_inline_onwtbmmdhN1ue2340_500.gif (250×250)

An accidental kiss between these two men changes everything though, and Mila encourages Alexander to explore his bi-sexual side. Which he does. He goes from reluctant to all in !!!What started as an MFM now becomes a MMF. Mila is present...but she might as well not be. Alexander is all about fucking and kissing Christian and Christian is eating that shit up. Of course things become quite awkward...especially for Mila....who is just hanging around when they get it on.

18531203.jpg (500×404)

Did I feel sorry for Mila ? Not even a little bit !! She pushed this shit on Alexander...even when she knew he didn‘t really want it. Afterwards she kept pushing him to do it again...and for him to explore his bi sexuality. She did this shit to herself !! Stupid twat !!

18531204.gif (500×363)

Alexander soon realizes, that his feelings for Christian are changing. Now he has a decision to make, because Alexander is not a cheater...Having sex with Christian while Mila is there is one thing....but wishing she wasn't and wanting to have Christian for himself, is another.

I really enjoyed the storyline in this one. I think Mila is the one who got hurt in the end, but she knew she only had herself to blame.

This book wasn't as hot as the others, which surprised me (and dissapointed me a bit), since it envolves a threesome. The only real problem I have with this book, is that there is still pussy until the very end !!

18531205.gif (310×229)

We don't even get to see these two men getting it on, without Mila being there !!! This actually pissed me off. I wanted to read about how things were, when it was finaly just the two of them. I felt a bit cheated :(

Other than this, I really did enjoy reading this one. It's not my favorite in the series, but we can't love them all the same !!

Some emotion flashed through Jared's face. "There's no need for that tone. I don't have an answer for everything. Far from it. I'm just saying sometimes love isn't pretty. It's not neat, and it's not textbook perfect. There's no template for love. Sometimes it's dirty. Sometimes it's a bit creepy. And sometimes it hurts."

can someone pls tell me AH's secret for her writing style? bc this series—and all her books in general—is too addicting for my own good. i had the urge to give this five stars, but the book felt so short (which is strange bc book one has a few more pages than this, but it didn't feel as short) and i just wanted more. i hated the threesome scenes (i can't lie though, it was hilarious how Alec/Christian forgot about Mila during the third threesome scene 😭🤣), Mila was annoying but i loved Alec and Christian together. 🥰 the way Alec immediately felt an attraction towards Christian during the second threesome scene after they accidentally kissed? chefs kiss.

Another winner!

The OTT events were seriously toned down here if compared with book 1 in the series. You see, this is not a complaint. I enjoyed book 1 loads! I just want to put this out there for those who prefer their stories to be more authentic, believable and easy to relate to.

I wish the girlfriend had gone MIA earlier in the story though.

And friends?? careful with what you wish for.

Ouch.

cheating. cheating. cheating. god the cheating in this book was killing me. yes, I knew that cheating would be included in the story, but still. I can't stand cheating, but I liked Chris and Alec's relationship very much. and this book felt like a lot, yet it was still underwhelming. that might not make much sense, but I can't really explain it.

anyway, as much as I disliked the cheating in this book, that will probably be a prevalent theme in the following novel. do I want more cheating in this series? hell no. will I still read the sequel? of course.

4.25 stars!

This was enjoyable for me. If this had had the MMF as all of them romantically involved, I wouldn't have read it, but thankfully the female in the equation, Mila, wasn't all that present. Even when, in the beginning, they kind of focused on her, it wasn't very detailed. Mostly these two were kind of just fucking each other with the excuse that Mila was there too so it was a "threesome" when really after the first few times it was just them and Mila was kinda...there.

And I didn't think Mila was mishandled too much. I mean she wasn't as annoying or as bad as I was expecting. She was just kinda there and there really wasn't that much passion at all between her and Alexander - or her and Christian. Pretty quickly she became not a threat at all and became kinda inconsequential for me.

It isn't cheating because it did, technically start out as a threesome and Mila was fully aware of it - and watched a majority of the time when it became basically just Alexander and Christian - and then Alexander broke up with her before he and Christian ever had sex together alone (which I do wish we would have gotten. I mean it was like they had it on their own most of the time before, but she was actually still there, even if they forgot about her, so it doesn't count as them truly have sex alone together).

Mila did start to become a little jealous - but again she didn't matter that much so I was kind of just smiling as I read how jealous she was, because I knew, I just knew, that Alexander was gonna break up with her soon.

I liked Alexander and Christian together. They were really hot and intense. All the effort of making the sex enjoyable to read in this goes towards Alexander and Christian and not anything with Mila, so I was good haha.

Recommend this, it was fun :) Still could have been longer, and maybe included an epilogue or something, but still good ;).

This was definitely a first for me!!

I’ve never read M/F romance and also haven’t touched M/F/M before. Probably because I’m gay, LOL.
I can’t say that this story changed my mind, but it was definitely a hot adventure!

description

Alexander is a 27 year old entrepreneur who lives with his 20 year old girlfriend Mila. He loves order and reliability in his life and monogamy in his relationship. However, his girlfriend wants to spice up their sex life by arranging a threesome with one of her hot fellow college students: Christian.

Christian is bi and has the weirdest crush on the hot boyfriend of his classmate. He watches Alexander pick her up from school each day and fantasizes about what it would be like to get his hands all over the gorgeous guy. So when Mila suggests a threesome, Christian doesn’t hesitate at all, if only for the chance to see Alexander naked.

The threesome turns out weird, though. Alexander doesn’t really want to share and Christian only has eyes for Alexander - who is straight.

Still, as with all of these romances, you KNOW how they end, so the path there is pretty fascinating.

Unfortunately, the story suffers from the same downside as many M/M/M stories: A third person is added to an existing relationship – and eventually

I felt bad for Mila, even though she was quite a sex-hungry person (note my effort to avoid the word *slut*…) and didn’t seem a good match for Alexander to start with.

I also liked Alexander’s extremely unusual family background that led to his current state of mind.

All in all, another great dark romance in the series, but still minus one star for the painful relationship drama.

“How are you going to get home?”Alexander said.

Christian pressed his nose against his ear. “Don’t wanna go home. Wanna fuck."

“Really,” Alexander said flatly. “I thought you declined Mila’s invitation because you didn’t want sex.”

“Don’t want a girl,” Christian’s murmured into his ear. “Want a man. Wanna be held down and fucked.”

Love this one too! Such a quick and fun read!

This is a romance between Christian and Alexander. Alexander’s girlfriend, Mila, convinced him to try having a threesome…with another man: Christian.

Christian is such a great character. He reminded me a lot of Dean from The Score, and he’s shamelessly flirty and lightheartedly funny. He messes with Alexander, teasing him while they’re with Mila and it’s so so cute, I couldn’t get enough.

“You have such girly lips,” he said before kissing Mila again, harder this time, sucking greedily on her lips.

Christian laughed by his ear and whispered, “Your girlfriend wasn’t complaining. Can you taste me in her mouth?”

And sometimes he’s kinda relatable it’s so funny please.

“How are you going to get home?” Alexander said.

Christian pressed his nose against his ear. “Don’t wanna go home. Wanna fuck.”

“Really,” Alexander said flatly. “I thought you declined Mila’s invitation because you didn’t want sex.”

“Don’t want a girl,” Christian’s murmured into his ear. “Want a man. Wanna be held down and fucked.”

He said what needed to be said tbh 😛 (but girls can hold you down and fuck you too, js...)

Alexander is also a sweetheart but struggles to accept the fact that he is attracted to men. In the end though, he comes to his senses and does what’s right. And it was done well and very maturely, so refreshing.

But sometime's they're just so cute and funny, they make me giggle sm ugh <3

“It’s like you’re scared to look at me for long.”

Alexander turned his head back to him. “Why would I be scared to look at you for long?”

“I don’t know. You tell me.”

“Actually, yes. I’m scared,” Alexander said. “I’m scared of looking at you because I might accidentally strangle you.”

Christian’s Adam’s apple bobbed up and down. “Okay.” He took Alexander’s hands and put them on his neck. “Come on, then.”

The plot line was good. I prefer plot lines that do not involve the complication of dealing with another love interest (like Just a Bit Twisted) but it was still very enjoyable. I did feel that Mila was villianised a bit for the purpose of pushing Christian and Alexander’s relationship. I would’ve preferred if she wasn’t just a chick who though two guys kissing was hot yk?

Since I cannot not compare this book to the first of the series, I found that this book has a bit less emotional connection and intimacy a.k.a. romance itself. I did feel that they loved each other in the end but I would have liked more special moments that did not have to just do with physical attraction.

At one point though, Alexander does take care of Christian when he’s drunk and it’s just so cute <3

“You can manage the rest on your own, right?”

“If I say no, will you carry me inside?” Christian was smiling slightly, but his eyes were oddly serious.

And although I thought Christian was a fun, sunshiney character, the men in this book did not compare to the sexiness of Rutledge, sorry. The first book was hotter. I think the book also had more sex scenes and of a larger variety, which I would’ve liked to have seen in this one, and once the love interest finally got together, the last sex scene was fade-to-black. I would’ve at least liked a descriptive kiss for closure. Oh, and I'm glad they actually used lube in this book lmaooao.

Regardless, this was still such a lovely read. I highly recommend this series if you’re looking for a book to get you out of a reading slump that is a sweet, lighthearted, fast-paced romance (not necessarily insta-love, dw!)

“Mila was frowning, deep in thought, and wasn’t looking at them anymore, so Christian stepped to Alexander and brushed his lips against Alexander’s. Just a peck.

Except their lips clung to each other, not wanting to let go.

Their lips clung to each other even as they slowly pulled apart.

“Bye,” Christian murmured, feeling a bit too warm.

“Good luck on the exam,” Alexander said, giving him a faint smile.

Christian grinned, nodded and stepped back.

He was still smiling as he left the apartment.

I also loved seeing Derek and Shawn plssss <333 I love them sm. They’re everything. I'm so glad we got to see them again in this book:

“Giving him a long-suffering look, Shawn walked to Rutledge and kissed him. “Go work on your book while you still can. Don’t forget that you promised Bee and Emily you’d take them shopping. They’re super excited—they’ve wanted a puppy for ages.”

“Yes, black and fluffy,” Rutledge said with a pinched expression on his face.

Shawn grinned. “And with a white star on its forehead! That’s very important for Emily.”

Rutledge gave him a glare. “What if there’s no such puppy?”

“I’m sure you can bully people into finding you one,” Shawn said. “Go work before they wake up.”

I’m loving this series so much!! This author is really so good at keeping you hooked on the story and avoiding unnecessary fillers. I’ve recently read books with a lot of annoying internal monologue, so this book’s concise, simple and functional writing was so refreshing.

Phew! I'm so glad I read this one I almost skipped it, since it contains M/F/M...well it was supposed to be but it ended up being M/M/F and I'm not a big fan of sharing my M/M with F. But anyway this is Christian's story, his Shawn's close friend from book one. Christian, has a crush on Alexander, who is straight and has a girlfriend, Mila the girlfriend asks Christian to join her and Alexander in a threesome and so the dilemma begins. This was another great read, filled sexual tension, a bit of angst and as I have expect from this series sexy, hot and intense! I'm seeing a pattern with this author with her leading guys, one is always the possessive, bossy alpha while the other is more laid back, open, and friendly. I really liked how the relationship was between both men and how Alexander handle his relationship with Mila. I just wished the ending wasn't so abrupt, I wanted a couple of chapters of them being together. It was great to see a bit of Shawn and the professor as a couple already. I'm really getting addictive to this series....into book three!!

God, I wanted so much more. When Alexander and Christian finally got to be lovey dovey and all the genuine swoony shit, the book fucking ended!! I feel so frustrated. I mean, I highly enjoyed this but I feel quite frustrated. Also, I wished we didn’t meet here Jared and Gab. They took so much screen time for me. If not for them, we would probably get a bit more of the mcs being together.

0 stars. This was a total shitshow. I truly hope no one ever goes through what Mila went through. Don't read this if (tons of unapologetic) physical and/or emotional cheating triggers u. SPOILERS AHEAD* & comments about the series at the end. I know what some ppl think of Mila but that won't change the fact that I 100% stand by this review. If you feel differently—that Mila is annoying, it was funny, she was simply the third wheel in her own bed, or deserved what she got—then good on you. I wish I could say the same. The worst part is that some of the people who gave this atrocity a high rating were denying, excusing, & even defending the cheating. So odd.

This is one of the worst books I've ever read. I DO NOT recommend.

4 smutty ✨gay✨ stars

What can I say? I have a soft spot for gay boys 🤷 I don't think I'll be giving any books in this series three stars or lower anytime soon.

Hello, what have we got here? Christian and Alexander? My favorite couple in this series yet.

Everyone of these pairs and couples are great, love them all. But something about this particular dudes that has me like.

I don't know how to feel about Mila, she was okay with wanting to climb another man and her perfect boyfriend said “okay” even though she knew he wanted to be as monogamous as possible. Then she gets all worked up when said boyfriend is maybe having a little too much fun. Like bitch?

But at the same time, it was her stupidity that gave me Christian and Alexander so I guess she aight.

"If you look at him and think ‘this is mine,’ that’s it. Grab it if you can."

Well, before I started this book I knew this one isn’t really for me but I have this insistence reading a series in order even if its books are standalone. I know, sometimes it’s really frustrating. So I read this one and as I expected it was an okay read.

My first issue was, it took me awhile to warm up to this story (the first 60% of the book)! my second issue was, I’m not a fan of threesome or sharing my characters but in this one the threesome scenes weren’t really threesome because Mila was like a third wheel in all of them but still it didn't work for me!

Told in multiple POV, 3rd person. It’s the second installment in the "Straight Guys" series but it can be read as a standalone. I can’t wait to read Jared & Gabriel’s story! Overall, it was a good read and I hope you enjoy it!

For all the MM junkies you have to read this. Only if you don't mind a vagina popping in the middle, because i don't like it even a little bit. Hence come my 3 star review although this book was pretty damn good everything else considering. Especially I loved the MC's really damn MUCH.

Review to come.

3.25*** stars

This was not particularly good but addicting to read all the same.

“And this… there’s nothing casual about this. So if you say yes, you’ll get the full package deal, whether you want it or not.”
“Is cuddling included in the full package?” he asked, putting a hand on Alexander’s chest. “I’m very partial to cuddling.”

“Special offer, only for you.”
“Full package, please.”

"If you look at him and think ‘this is mine,’ that’s it. Grab it if you can. So he did."

Well look who it is and back with another AH review?

Me. Lol

What can I say? I am just a bit obsessed with this series🤣. Oh the irony haha.

This book was my cup of tea😏

I enjoyed seeing Alec lose his shit over Chris. A jealous and possessive Alec was 😍😍 everything. Not sure how to feel about his stalkerish tendencies 🤷‍♀️ it was random. I was glad when he dumped Mila, I found her really annoying and in the way lol. Glad she was gone.

My only complaint with this book was that it was short! Like why AH? Just when they started to get hot and heavy the book ended 😭😭. Sigh.

Overall an enjoyable read, I do wish it was longer😔😢 but what can you do? It is what it is.

This will be my last review for 2021. What a great way to end it with an AH review. I was gonna write it in the morning but then I realized I am getting my booster shot for covid and I will probably feel like shit lol. So writing a review at 2:30 am it is.

I hope you all have a lovely new years despite the pandemic and have a great year ahead, and time to read all the books you want or have yet to read!

I am not okay with relationships/casual sex between more than two people if even one of them feels jealous/cheated on. That said, I knew what the endgame here was, so I just powered through the threesome scenes. 🙈 I loved Alexander and Christian together! 🔥 These books are scarily addictive…

One of favorite stories in the series. I wish the author didn't end their story so abruptly. I would have loved a sexy, romantic epilogue!

Great short story, super hot sexiness, and engrossing characters ! This GFY, "gay for you", story shows it's not just a guy who suddenly wants to be with guys, it's that only a certain person makes it happen. Mila wants a threesome, so Alex thinks it over and says yes.
When Christian shows up, he instantly irritates Alex. During their ménage, Alex and Christian accidentally kiss, and Alex is amazed at how much he liked it. I liked the guys and the building relationship. Mila seemed pouty and immature, but this is college. Their deep feelings grow, and they're each astounded how much they want and need each other. This short story is full bodied and romantic, too. Loved these guys and their intense emotions.
ENJOY !!!

So far this has been my favorite of the series although it still lacks a little bit of feels. I’m totally intrigued by the next book and Jared’s story. I also like that they’re fast reads.

I also have to say that this is NOTHING like Top Secret by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy, nothing like it, not even close.

4 "flirty" Stars

I ONLY read this book because I wanted MORE of Derek and Shawn from the first book but I ended up liking Christian and Alexander the same!

My fav character is Christian! He is soo cute and verry straightforward with his flirty or so he calls "messing around."

Mila...Mila...I don't even know if you can call her a girlfriend, she really didn't care what Alexander thought of the threesome (even though he said yes...but still) After the first time she called Christian WITHOUT asking Alexander...I mean!! Also WHAT THE HECK is the difference between a threesome and a "REAL" one???

Alexander's character was portrayed very well and his struggle with his emotions and self-control was understandable. The sexual tension between him and Christian is incredible...

Let's talk about the side characters...Derek and Shawn are so cute! Even if we get a little glimpse of them....I am swooning!

But one problem, I know Jared and Gabriel come up in book 3 but I literally already read 2 WHOLE chapters about them...now I am hesitant about book 3 cuz Gab seems like selfish asshole!

Anyways back to this book! I am on the second book for this series and already tired of the SHORT-ASS endings!! NOO! As soon as the MCs are lovey-dovey and feelings are realized....that's it! THE END!?

So far my fav couples are:
1. Derek and Shawn
2. Christian and Alexander
