New notifications

ICYMI: I noticed today that in the notification feed new notifications are marked with a blue bar at the left. The mark disappears after you leave and return to the page (i.e., it doesn't represent whether you opened or read the notification--just whether it has previously appeared on the page). This may have always been there, but I'm posting in case it's new or new to others.

Yep, long-standing behavior. Several of us have complained.

This is a known feature of the Notification page.  The blue bar signifies the new notifications, similar to the blue background in the notification bell.  The blue bar does disappear upon viewing the notification page.
