The crowds of Easter have come and gone for another year and although Easter traditionally signals the end of the busier months (which start pre-Christmas), it seems the coast is still buzzing.
Of course school holidays are still going but perhaps it’s due to the travel restrictions that we are seeing so many people in the area?
The surf didn’t really turn it on as it so often does over Easter, which was just as well given that the long running Bells Beach Easter Classic was relocated to NSW due to Covid concerns. However for the surfing enthusiasts amongst you, note that the swell is forecast to be large on Sunday, but don’t get too excited. The wind is forecast to be south-west which isn’t the ideal conditions. That said there are sure to be some protected spots that will be good, so get out there and make the most of it before the water starts to get really cold.
For anyone thinking of finally making the sea change, we have just listed for sale one of Aireys Inlet’s oldest businesses for sale, Skinny Legs Café. See below for further information or feel free to contact us.
