Pasil, Kalinga awarded for transparency on locally-funded projects

Pasil, Kalinga – The municipal government of Pasil led by Mayor Alfredo “Chao-ig” Malannag Jr. received recognition award from the Department of Interior and Local Government for its commendable performance in the implementation and reporting of Locally Funded Projects (LFPs).

In pursuit of transparency and accountability, Pasil, through its Municipal Local Government Operations Office headed by Helen Lacuesta, submitted all the documentary requirements to the Subaybayan ang Proyektong Bayan (SubayBAYAN) System in July 2022.

SubayBAYAN is the official online system monitoring of DILG that provides real-time information on the physical and financial status, as well as the information on the actual location, implementation, and other basic data of the LFPs.

Recognizing the efforts of Pasil MLGOO, the regional DILG awarded a certificate of recognition that was handed over by the provincial department to Lacuesta during its 3rd Quarter 2022 Provincial Management Review (PMR) held on Thursday, September 22 at Davidson’s Hotel, Bulanao, Tabuk City.

Malannag, in his social media post, congratulated Lacuesta and encoder Engr. Ronald Angid ‘for a job well done.’

The performance displayed by the concerned office is a way of earning the trust and support of their constituents for the undertakings of the local government unit.

The municipalities of Tinglayan, Tanudan, Balbalan, and Rizal also received the same certificate.
