Royal Albert Hall

The Royal Albert Hall is one of the United Kingdom's most treasured and distinctive buildings and was built in the 1860s in the Italianate style in memory of Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert who died in 1861. It is held in trust for the nation and is managed by a registered charity. The Hall does not receive government funding.
