Not In Miami Is Arriving, Here’s Everything Going Down
Highsnobiety’s ‘Not In’ city series, a multifaceted, experiential event popping up in cities worldwide, is back on the road. Having celebrated local communities from London to Milan and Paris to New York, its final stop of the year is Miami.
Not In Miami runs across six days during Miami Art Week, starting on December 3. The event will take over Jungle Plaza, in the center of Miami’s Design District, transforming the vast square with a Miami-inspired twist.
Centered around a deconstructed pool installation, the space will host art exhibitions, exclusive product releases, live performances, and a sculpture by Raúl de Nieves. It will include the chance to buy exclusive Not In Miami products alongside a T-shirt printing station hosted by Pablo T-shirt Factory and Pigalle, celebrating the pioneering French brand’s 10-year anniversary.
Alongside Not In Miami, the Jungle Plaza space is co-hosted by Jaguar and will be the backdrop for the British car company to debut a new era of artistic expression.
Beyond the permanent installations showing as part of Not In Miami, there is a varied events program taking place, with drinks provided by 1800 Tequila: an artist talk featuring Timbaland and Derek Fordjour with 12on12, a Run Club with HOKA & VACO Studios, a meditation session with Space Available and Hotel Drugs, plus Bumble will present ‘The Art of Matchmaking Party’.
Finally, on December 6, JOOPITER, (the digital-first auction house and content platform founded by Pharrell Williams) and Vita Veloce Team will have items on display from their latest auction together with J Balvin. The JOOPITER showcase will be viewable until December 8.
If you can’t make it to Miami, our exclusive Not In Miami collection — featuring a collaboration with local grill masters Hometown BBQ — will be available to shop online at the Highsnobiety Shop and iOS App.
