Photograph Inscribed and signed: "To Steven-/Always,/Deborah
Adair", in silver ink. B/w, 8x10. Although she made guest appearances
on many TV series, Deborah Adair (b. 1952) made soap operas her
specialty. Her daytime dramas, starting in 1980, included The Young and
the Restless, Santa Barbara and Days of Our Lives. In prime
time, she was featured on Dynasty (as Tracy Kendall, 1983-1984) and
Melrose Place (1992-1993, playing an advertising executive, the career
she had pursued in real life before becoming an actress). In all, she
appeared in 7 of Aaron Spelling's TV series and mini-series. She retired from
acting in 1995, after she and her husband, TV producer Chip Hayes, adopted two
children. Poor contrast but still very readable. Otherwise, fine
condition.
