the 1986 film The Name of the Rose. F. Murray Abraham, who made his New
York stage debut in the long-running off-Broadway hit, The Fantasticks,
made spot appearances on TV series and commercials before winning an Oscar as
the murderously jealous composer Antonio Salieri in Amadeus (1984). He
played a strong supporting role in The Name of the Rose two years later,
and appeared twice in one year (1995) as Al Capone in Dillinger and
Capone and Baby Face Nelson. Abraham got to play a Star Trek villain
in Star Trek: Insurrection (1998). Recent roles have included The
Bridge at San Luis Rey (2005) and narrator of the PBS series Nature
(2007-2008). Lightly creased at corners. Adequate contrast. Otherwise, fine
condition.
