Once Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s 2014 film earned nearly $500 million at the worldwide box office, Arnett signed on for the sequel and his own Lego Batman spinoff, out in 2017.
Following a $500 million showing for the 2014 Turtles reboot, Arnett will reprise his role opposite Megan Fox as Vernon for the sequel due out in June.
Arnett travels to London for the niche David Cross comedy. It was on that show that he met writer Mark Chappell, with whom he created Flaked.
Every net passed on the animated series about a washed-up sitcom star (who’s also a horse) before Netflix swooped in. The show will be back for season three this year.
