2017 Golden Globe Awards timetable released by Hollywood Foreign

Nominations for the 74th annual Gold Globe Awards will be announced on Monday, Dec. 12, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Thursday as it set its timetable for its next awards cycle, which will culminate with the Globes ceremonies that will be broadcast by NBC on Jan. 8, 2017.

The deadlines begin with the Oct. 31 deadline for submission of motion picture and TV entry forms. The organization’s members will vote on the nominations between Nov. 25 and Dec. 9. The final voting for the winners will take place between Dec. 19 and Jan. 4.

The Golden Globe Awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the HFPA.

Monday, Oct. 31, 2016	Deadline for submission of Golden Globe Motion Picture and Television entry forms
Friday, Nov. 25, 2016	Deadline for nomination ballots to be mailed to all HFPA members by Ernst & Young
Monday, Dec. 5, 2016	Final screening date for Motion Pictures
Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016	Final date for Motion Picture press conferences
Friday, Dec. 9, 2016	Deadline for receipt of nomination ballots by Ernst & Young, at 10 a.m.
Monday, Dec. 12, 2016	Announcement of nominations for the “74^th Annual Golden Globe® Awards” at 8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT
Monday, Dec. 19, 2016	Final ballots mailed to all HFPA members
Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017	Deadline for receipt of final ballots by Ernst & Young, at 5 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017	Presentation of the “74^th Annual Golden Globe® Awards”
