1. Why not create a spot for outdoor meals with a beautiful table and set of comfortable chairs?
2. If you are thinking about adding a water feature this spring, why not place it right off the deck area where you will be sitting? That way you can watch the fish darting around and listen to the symphony of water noises, frogs and insects.
This is a close-up photograph of the pond in the previous garden.
And this is the waterfall.
3. Not everyone has a big space. Here is a tiny suburban garden. Raised flowerbeds frame this courtyard garden beautifully.
With the pretty pink roses, this garden has a romantic feel. See an assortment of small space ideas in this post:
4. Wouldn't this fireplace be nice on a chilly evening?
5. Here is a garden with an outdoor fireplace that is a bit more rustic. There are additional images in this post: http://threedogsinagarden.blogspot.ca/2013/07/a-place-to-unwind.html
5. If your backyard is really sunny, why not add a bit of manmade shade? See additional images in this post: http://threedogsinagarden.blogspot.ca/2012/03/gosdenwendell-garden.html
6. Sometimes all that you need is that perfect place to sit and admire the garden.
8. A place to de-stress need not be fancy.
