Savage Skies Ships To Stores

BAM! Entertainment has announced that it has shipped Savage Skies, iRock Games' fantasy flight combat game for PlayStation 2. The game should be available from specialty retailers tomorrow. Astute readers will note that this is the game formerly known as Ozzy's Black Skies, back when it was a PC title licensed by the eponymous legendary metalhead. After development fell on hard times, the title was de-Osbourned and moved to PlayStation 2, but it still features a host of dragons, griffons, and other fantasy creatures to fly and do battle with.

"We're proud to have developed a well-crafted storyline with tons of amazing environments and creatures," said Robert Stevenson, VP of Product Development at iROCK Games. "Truly unique and compelling dragon combat games are a challenge to create, but the effort that went into Savage Skies has been worth it. The end result, whether battling through the single player game or pummelling friends in multiplayer, is an absolute blast to play."
