These types of driods were similar in all aspects to the common B1 infantry battle droid but contains a more advanced programming and uses a deeper voice module that is very similar to the B2 Super battle Droids and they have software capable of allowing them to copy to an extent, another vioce and for infiltration. Their advanced armor and slim shape allows them to react faster and witstand multiple blaster shots. Though oddly the head of the droid is not as armored as the rest of the body and is very expensive to produce, hence why the Trade Federation produces them for Spec. ops. or critical metions and aren't a common sight on the field.

Notable Examples

The Commando Driod captains are leaders of each squad if containing any commando droids and they would be outfitted with a vibrosword in addition to having unit markings.

History

The Commando Droids were created in reaction to the threat of clones and Jedi and were to be on their level, on contrary to belief, they weren't
