Taylor Swift looked so stunning on the red carpet for the world premiere of Cats.

The “Delicate” singer-songwriter was a total showstopper when she arrived to celebrate the global debut of her upcoming musical film outside Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday night (December 16). For the star-studded evening, Swift dazzled in an Oscar de la Renta dress, Chloe Gosselin shoes and accessorized her glamorous look with earrings by Maxior and rings by Borgioni and Beladora.

As fans know, the 30-year-old portrays the flirtatious feline Bombalurina in the film, opening in theaters on December 20. In addition, Swift recorded an original number for the motion picture soundtrack called “Beautiful Ghosts,” which recently earned her a 2020 Golden Globes nomination.

Joining Cats was a no-brainer as the pop star is a well-known cat lover herself. (She owns three: Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin Swift.) In fact, while speaking with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Swift revealed how her kitties helped inspire one of the other felines in the film.

“The cat they're most like in the movie is a cat called Jennyanydots, which Rebel Wilson plays,” she shared. Not to mention, while learning to behave like a human-like cat in “cat school,” Swift’s instructor used a video of her three cats to inspire the group. “She was like, 'Can I send these to Rebel? They're the perfect inspiration for her cat!'" the actress recalled. "So, my cats didn't inspire me — but I like to think that, when they were sent to Rebel, they did inspire her for her character development.”
