Shiki appears to confront her. A gift which in turn is a curse. Can they save the confused woman of her strange curse?

Mirai Fukuin is an adaptation of a side story from the Kara no Kyoukai novel series. It is divided into two parts. Möbius ring Shizune Seo and Mitsuru Kamekura are psychics who can see the future. Shizune was sick of her predictable boring life and Meruka became a professional bomber taking advantage of his supernatural power. Shiki wanders the back alleys of the business district, searching for the murderer and avoiding attacks by local thugs while Mikiya becomes more and more worried about her, beginning his own investigation that takes him down a path populated by drug pushers and prostitutes. They will discover that their enemy is someone from the past that had much to do with both and is only guided by an animal impulse. Who is the murderer? Will they survive to their fate?

January 1999: Meet Azaka Kokuto. She plans to win Mikiya over as her lover despite the presence of a dangerous woman named Shiki Ryogi. There is only one problem - Azaka is his sister. And another major problem - Shiki and Azaka are sent to a magic school to uncover the truth after a serious incident in that school and no one has some memory of what happened. If anything is true is that there are some "Fairies" involved and are not good fairies. Will this pair of girls get along and resolve this incident?

The plot follows a few stories, first one being about Shiki looking after a cat Mikiya left her. Second story covers a much more grim topic of suicide and dealing with loss. Last story revolves around a New Year's celebration and wishes.
