When college students sign up for what seems a simple paid research study, they soon realize their lives are in danger. Unfortunately they've unknowingly volunteered their bodies as human collateral in an ongoing U.S. Military experiment.

In a marginalized New Orleans still trying desperately to recover from Katrina, a private eye on the fringes of society reluctantly investigates two murders - one present day, one thirty years old. A severally depressed and suicidal man (Steve) rationalizes with his alter ego (Marcus), to play a game of Russian roulette. Seeing the game is not turning out as he had hoped, Marcus suddenly takes matters into his own hands.
