Tide

I put this on thinking it was about a group getting stranded in a tide and having to fight for survival to get out.

Well it was only me fighting to get out of this 1 hour 22 minutes of nothing.

It was just so boring and I normally appreciate the actors or behind the scenes crew. They must of known this was sinking in " quick sand" very fast.

Now I have to write another 200 words.

It was boring not at all enjoyable and I think only stoners will get some understanding from this piece.

I don't know if even aliens were apart of this movie. I remember an argument over a sandwhich she says " You don't know how to be in a relationship".

It lost me on enjoyment and fun.

I think I rather enjoyed it. I was never bored at least.

However you have to suspend your disbelief really really hard, because of, you know, the bridge? The one you can see in at least one shot? With the free shuttle that will bring you to the parking on shore in ten minutes ?

Also the really dangerous things the hidden riverbeds and the strong currents, not only the quicksand. While the last act was fun, the waist deep still water was a bit of a disappointment.

The acting was pretty good and the dialogues were believable. Except the obligatory "Oh no our phones are not working!" but communication is really hard on an horror movie.

And you better stay out - no pun intended. I'll even explain that - well if you know what I am riffing off you know, but that quote from a former famous TV personality (who was controversial - and that's me being gracious to his persona and status and all his lies/controversies) ... you may wonder why am I even talking about him? Well it is because there is not much to talk about here (unfortunately).

Acting is decent I reckon, if you accept this is a low budget movie - it even looks good (cinematography) ... but when it comes to story ... well there is not much here. There is a kind of twist I reckon at the end of the movie ... but for it to work ... a lot of things had to go a certain way. Anyway, just don't overthink it I reckon, if you consider watching it ... really not exceptional at any point ... but I also have seen worse ... this did not suck me in (sorry I just had to for one final time)

This Movie was shot in the bay of. Mont Saint Michel, Normandy, France. Great Location for a Mystery/Horror Movie.

I had no expectations other than a strictly B-movie experience and Its certainly not a Hollywood blockbuster, but i liked it a lot. No spectacular hightech FX, but it works quite well anyway.

The gloomy and creepy atmosphere is great, the Characters decisions sometimes seem to be stupid, but you can confidently overlook that. Overall, the acting is above avarage and the simple plot keeps you in, because you want to know what happens next.

Very good and suspense build up. The last act could have been better and some questions remain unanswered.

Supposedly, the film is based on true events. I doubt that, but who knows..

Overall, a good watch to me.

Recommended for fans of low budget Mystery/Horror Movies.

The movie was absolutely terrible. Not even a jump scare. No plot twist no backstory no nothing. I just wasted a good hour and a half of my life. I got so aggravated and wanted to turn the movie off, but after I realized it was almost over I figured I finished it until the end. Which just made me even more mad because ultimately the two guys did nothing wrong the only one that really should have died was the mouthy chick that Was with the redhead. I don't see why they just didn't turn back around and go to the freaking church and stay for the night. But all in all a waste of time don't watch it. It will just piss you off the longer you watch it.
