Nothing like this has been done before with such unusual, but loveable characters. I mean FIST?!?! Just totally captivating. It did get better as time went but then fizzled out at the last few. Duff created a genius, fantastical, dark, very dark comedy which can be related to everyday at times.

Retitled as "Clatterford" in the United States.I caught this late and watched by pure chance as it was a Saunders joint. The thing is, I can't relate to this programme in any way at all, but still couldn't take my eyes off it and watched to the very end wanting more. Such an endearing look at rural liviing with delightful characters with a great script. Absolutely different and wonderful.
