Two henchmen, Kurt Engel and Jack Baun, open a Mercedes in a parking,drive the car to a street where a man,Paul Dieckmann falls in the street,they hit deadly the man and return to the parking where they put the Mercedes at the same place.Krauss who was on the street with Dieckmann calls the police and says that a Mercedes hit and tells her the car registration.The car belongs to the Dr. Margolin, a famous gynecologist of Munich who tells the Old Fox that he doesn't hit the man with his car.The next day the newspapers write about the responsibility of Dr. Margolis in this murder.

A young woman called Anna Colucci has been killed by strangulation in the train from Trieste to Munich and the Commissioner in a special TV program is asking for help to find the murderer.Tina Colucci was looking the program.

Three liquor-store robbers, two men and a woman, kill a cop while escaping. The woman and the younger man get away, but the older killer is captured. When allowed to make his one phone call, he talks in Greek to the younger robber, telling him about Kojak's niece and the birthday party she is having in East River Park. The killers stake out the party and kidnap the little girl, demanding the leader's release as a ransom for letting the child go. Kojak uses a painting the little girl included in a ransom note to figure out where they might be headed.

The police investigate the bombing of a restaurant in which several people were killed, including the mistress of one of the detectives working of the case, who doesn't tell the others about his relationship with her, and who is unaware that the person who committed the bombing is his own emotionally unstable wife.

The key witness in a robbery/murder trial is murdered just before he was about to testify, seriously damaging the prosecution's case. Kojak's options are either to use less reliable witnesses or to find another way to nail the killers.

In an episode originally scheduled as the season opener (it was pushed back a few weeks to allow "Birthday Party," considered a better audience draw, to get the slot), a serial killer plunges a knife into anyone who stiffs him consumerwise -- six murders to date. The chief suspect is a troubled young man who sprays graffiti on walls talking about the character "The Grim Reaper."

Kojak's team snares child molester Dettrow, who they are forced to release because he has diplomatic immunity and is helping out the FBI. Kojak won't give up on nailing the arrogant serial sex offender, and doubts the FBI's pledge to keep Dettrow under wraps. Dettrow's psychiatrist counsels Kojak that such a compulsive is most likely to nab a child when he's under pressure. Kojak's shields tail the elusive Dettrow to prevent another molestation, so when they spot the East German embassy chauffeur sweating through a furtive meeting with a Red Chinese, Kojak fears Dettrow will soon snatch another boy.

Marie Sandtner , who manages a small florist's shop, received a surprise visit.Her alcoholic husband Hasso Sandtner that she hasn't seen for a year , says that he is happy to see her again, shows her a lot of 50 DM bank notes and wants to drink with her.She asks him from where he has the money ,but Hasso no answers.She says that she will not drink with him and finally went out leaving about 1000 DM on a table.After he is gone, Marie asks Toni Wiener about Hasso,but Toni doesn't know nothing.She decides to shadow Hasso and notices that Hasso is drinking with some friends under one of the bridges upon the Isar.The following day Hasso has been found dead by a hit with a bottle on his head under one of these bridges.The police makes a roundup in a tavern where the homeless companions of Hasso where drinking paying with 50 DM bank notes.The Old Fox gets confirmation that the bank notes are false.

Bankruptcy: Walter Müller, who is facing bankruptcy, tries his best to manage the situation, his marriage and the challenging relationship with his father in law. When he returns from a business trip, he discovers his wife was abducted.

A cop with an addicted girlfriend is determined to continue on the drug case he was working on, even after accidentally killing his own partner during an attempted arrest.

Two longshoremen are murdered, but Kojak can't break through the code of silence of their co-workers and get any of them to testify against the mobsters who killed them. The workers are more concerned with dealing out their own justice on whoever of their own may have helped set up the victims.

Helmut Staufen goes to the local bank for the money of the wages and on the way back to the construction company he feigns that he has been attacked by a robber.

Vera Moldau,a literature critic has been poisoned while she was taking a glass of liquor,but she manages to call the police for help and she is safe.The Old Fox asks her from where she has received the collection of liquors.She answers that she has received a parcel from a company which makes promotion and gives some small bottles as a gift, but she doesn't remember the name of this producer.Then she mentions that she will be the unique heir of her uncle,Mr. Yves Moldau, a china producer.But maybe her sister Annabella Moldau wants to kill her.Annabella disappeared 8 years ago when they were together on holiday in Marbella.The next day the cleaning lady, Anna Koch, is electrocuted while she was touching the tap of the bathtub.Curiously Annabella had the second key of the house and she could prepare his murder attempt.

With a gallery curator found murdered on his showroom floor and a missing sculpture, Charlie, Rex and Sarah are thrown into the world of high art. Jesse feels the burn when Sarah picks him as her new running buddy.
