Despite the rise and proliferation of boy fighting films and series, like Cobra Kai, few films exist where, if even if just for a couple seconds, that feature boys engaged in combat or fighting for survival.

This list was used to help me write my book, Extreme Madness, and inspired by a subject I started writing about when I myself was a kid. Often when I started backyard wrestling in 1997 I looked to the Internet to see if anyone else had done it first. At that time the Internet was difficult to find any such evidence. Now thanks to the Internet and rise in popular culture such evidence exists.

Note: As it relates to franchise films like Twilight, Hunger Games, or Karate Kid, I will only list the first of the franchise. This does not include spinoffs or sequels to other mediums such as Cobra Kai >> Karate Kid.

Only this list focuses on the films and projects actually released (no upcoming movies here) where females, whether by appearances or plot-driven, make up the whole ensemble in a tournament (Raze; by appearance) or are the majority (DOA: Dead or Alive; plot-driven).

This does not bother with any dominant-male movie (Mortal Kombat, Kickboxer 4) where females fight males (mixed fights) in tournament bouts, however, it may include films where mixed fights that happened outside a tournament are done so for climatic reasons (Raze, Girlfight (2000), DOA: Dead or Alive) or where males may train, and for any reason, fight females (Million Dollar Baby, Bare Knuckles).
