Tom Pelphrey is living in baby girl bliss! In March, the actor and his partner, Kaley Cuoco, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Matilda.

“The first month has been heaven,” Pelphrey tells Et’s Deidre Behar while promoting his new HBO Max show, “Love & Death”.

Although he’s only been a father for a matter of weeks, Pelphrey says that he has already learned a few important lessons.

“It’s sort of like you keep them safe, you keep them healthy, you don’t let them hurt themselves and you offer guidance and structure,” he says. “I feel like the the child is also apart of this equation and they’re not going to be dictated to or shouldn’t be.”

True crime media seemingly won't go away, and with the sheer quantity of films and television shows in the subgenre, it feels as if there are more low-quality programs than those of higher quality. However, if the trailer for HBO Max's upcoming limited series "Love & Death" is anything to go by, we could have a very high-quality and suspenseful series coming soon to our screens.

While this may be a story some of you may be familiar with, allow us to walk through the tragic tale being adapted by David E. Kelley for the streamer. Candy Montgomery (Elizabeth Olsen) was considered the perfect housewife in 1980s Texas until the charming Allan Gore (Jesse Plemons) entered her life. The two begin an affair, which threatens her friendship with his wife Betty (Lily Rabe). As tensions and secrets build, Candy reaches a brutal breaking point, resulting in one of the state's most infamous crimes.

Long before the days of "Breaking Bad," "Game of Thrones," and "Stranger Things," "Lost" was the "must-see" television show that everyone was obsessed with. You simply had to tune in to ABC each week to see the latest shocking plot twist. That shows how radically the entertainment industry has changed. Veteran PR executive Eric Kops has been officially named head of global communications and earned media for Lionsgate’s motion picture group.

The announcement was made Thursday by Marisa Liston, Lionsgate’s president of global marketing, to whom Kops will report.

Kops will oversee global feature film publicity on all wide theatrical releases, multi-platform releases and catalog, through the full cycle of their campaigns; he also will oversee strategic communications for the motion picture group as a whole. Kops has been unofficially serving in the role since last year, when Liston was promoted from the job to lead the global marketing department.

John Gabriel Rodriquez is coming in for a permanent landing with a series-regular promotion ahead of Fantasy Island‘s second season, TVLine has learned.

The Fox reboot stars Roselyn Sanchez (Devious Maids) as Elena Roarke, the grand-niece of the original Fantasy Island‘s Mr. Roarke, famously played by Ricardo Montalban. Kiara Barnes (The Bold and the Beautiful) also stars as Ruby Akuda, who becomes Elena’s permanent second-in-command after coming to the island as a guest. And then there’s Rodriquez as Javier, officially the island’s head of transport… and unofficially Elena’s friend with benefits.

Fox has booked a return visit to Fantasy Island.

The network on Thursday officially ordered a second season of the hit Roselyn Sanchez-led drama, while also revealing a two-hour special would premiere in December.

“Thanks to the fantastic Roselyn Sanchez and charming Kiara Barnes and the captivating stories that tapped into the core tenets of emotion and aspiration, Fantasy Island was the perfect wish fulfillment and escape we all needed this summer,” said Michael Thorn.

Fox is keeping Fantasy Island open for business. Not only has the reboot been renewed for a second season in 2022, but fans will also return to the iconic locale even earlier with a two-hour holiday special next month, TVLine has learned.

Titled “Welcome to the Snow Globe,” the festive episode (Dec. 21, 8/7c) guest-stars Lindsey Kraft (Grace and Frankie) as a busineswoman whose “fantasy of a perfect Christmas and meeting ‘Mr. Right’ tests Roarke in unexpected ways. Meanwhile, Mr. Jones faces his past, while a new Secret Santa tradition has Ruby and Javier looking to the future,” according to the official logline.

Saffron Burrows, Dylan Arnold, and Tati Gabrielle have all been cast in series regular roles. Michaela McManus, Shannon Chan-Kent, Ben Mehl, Christopher O’Shea, Christopher Sean, Bryan Safi, Mackenzie Astin, Ayelet Zurer, and Jack Fisher will all appear as recurring guest stars. Burrows was seen in a recurring role in Season 2 but will move up to series regular in Season 3.

Although they certainly look like they could be twins in real life, actresses Maddie Phillips and Anjelica Bette Fellini, both 25, aren't even related at all. Fellini is still very much a newcomer to the business. Her most recognizable role has been on the superhero drama The Gifted, where she played Rebecca, aka "Twist." Netflix's quirky action comedy Teenage Bounty Hunters is one of the newest shows on the platform, but we're already wondering if there will be a second season. The show, which follows a pair of teenage twins as they team up with a pro bounty hunter to track down baddies, still has its future very much up in the air.

Right now, there hasn't been any word about whether the show has been renewed for a second season or if it's going to be cancelled. For a little while, at least, we really can't expect to hear any news. Aside from its most popular, attention-grabbing titles, Netflix rarely renews shows immediately, and even then, it can take weeks or months after the initial release for the news to break. Since the first season is just debuting on Aug. 14, it's far too early to expect Netflix to have made a decision one way or the other.

In a world of frustratingly vague TV show titles like Reprisal, Dark, and Run, some titles have the moral courage to stand up and declare their intentions, loud and proud. Such is the case with Netflix’s latest teenage action comedy. It’s called Teenage Bounty Hunters and you will absolutely guess what it’s all about.

Teenage Bounty Hunters stars Maddie Phillips and Anjelica Bette Fellini as fraternal twins and best friends Sterling and Blair Wesley. As the show’s title so helpfully implies, Sterling and Blair are 16-year-old bounty hunters. Netflix’s full synopsis of the show reads:

Freestyle Digital Media has released the first official trailer for an indie drama titled The Maestro, a biopic about the infamous master teacher Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. The film focuses on a young composer named Jerry Herst, played by Leo Marks, who moves to Hollywood after WWII to study with Castelnuovo-Tedesco - striking up a friendship with him. Freestyle Digital Media has acquired domestic rights to Adam Cushman’s The Maestro, a biopic about composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco tarring The Walking Dead‘s Xander Berkeley. It will get a theatrical release beginning February 15 in New York and Los Angeles, with VOD coming February 19. The pic, penned by C.V. Herst and produced by David J. Phillips, centers on the letters of Castelnuovo-Tedesco, who composed scores for more than 200 Hollywood films in the 1940s and 1950s and mentored the likes of John Williams, Randy Newman, Henry Mancini, Jerry Goldsmith and Andre Previn. Leo Marks, Sarah Clarke, Mackenzie Astin, Bobby Campo, Alex Essoe and in his last film Jon Polito co-star. The deal was negotiated by Freestyle Ira Goldklang and Rachel Koehler and Sean Pope and Tiffany Boyle from Ramo Law for the filmmakers.

Dylan Baker (The Good Wife, Damages) has joined the Season 7 cast of the Showtime thriller as a recurring guest star, TVLine has learned. Baker will play Senator Sam Paley, a maverick U.S. Senator from the Southwest — hmmm, sound like anyone we know? — who is aggressively investigating Keane’s abuse of power. (If you remember, last season ended with an assassination attempt on Keane, which led to her getting paranoid about an internal conspiracy, having Saul arrested and cutting Carrie out of her inner circle.

Homeland is restocking its ensemble before diving into another season of high-stakes spy games: The Emmy-winning thriller has added two actors to its Season 7 cast, TVLine has learned.

First up is Morgan Spector (Boardwalk Empire, Person of Interest), who will be a series regular in Season 7 as Dante Allen, an old friend of Carrie’s who is looking into the hundreds of people President Keane has detained following last season’s assassination attempt.
