Bob Graham was born in New York where his father worked as a Broadway actor. He worked extensively at 20th Century Fox on a series of films which included such notables as John Frankenheimer, Jeff Bridges, Gene Wilder, etc. He attended AFI where he was awarded the "Henry Fonda Award" as outstanding director. For AFI he produced and directed "Dialogue with Master Filmmakers" a series featuring: Steven Spielberg, Francois Truffaut, and Bernardo Bertolucci. He then co-produced and directed a conceptual art group which generated national and international attention. Coverage on Bob included feature articles in Time Magazine, Newsweek, National Observer, People Magazine, AP, and UPI as well as guest appearances on entertainment/news shows on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN. Additionally, he was the subject of a German National Television documentary. He continued his work in film as a Producer, Director, Production Supervisor, and UPM. He is co-winner of the Orson Welles "Freedom of Expression" Award (shared with Martin Scorsese). A film he directed was invited to the Director's Fortnight at Cannes and opened to high critical acclaim at the Curzon Theater, London. To pursue his interest in writing, he relocated to London. As a writer/director his plays were produced at the Theatre Upstairs at the Royal Court, The Hampstead Theater Club, The Round House, The Kindred Theater, etc. and were selected to be included in the Victoria and Albert Museum collection of plays. He is an Arts Council of Great Britain Grant recipient. And Lion's Gate optioned a feature concept he wrote entitled "Amazon Run".
