Everyone’s tuning in to Missing You on Netflix, and with only five episodes, it’s quick to binge-watch in no time! If you found yourself hooked on this mystery thriller and are craving more of Harlan Coben’s thrilling storytelling, you're in luck.
This New York Times bestselling author has many other shows similar to Missing You streaming on Netflix. This is due to his overall deal with the streamer, which involves him adapting his books into TV shows and movies for the streaming platform. Missing You is his most recent Netflix series adaptation, but many of his other books have already been turned into shows for the streaming service.
However, that doesn't mean they're all entertaining. We would hate for you to waste your time going through the rest of Coben's collection on Netflix without knowing which ones are truly worth the binge. That's why we're about to...

You may have seen the latest Harlan Coben adaptation to be released on Netflix. The stylish thriller Missing You has just been released there. It’s well worth seeing and with five episodes of around 45 minutes each, is highly suitable for a binge-watch.
If you've seen it, you are maybe an avid fan of Harlan Coben, via his books or the many TV adaptations. He and Netflix are regular partners and a number of his novels have been turned into drama series on the platform. On the other hand, there are likely to be viewers who haven't yet caught on to the writer's work.
If you have only seen one or two, or even less, then there's a great opportunity to catch up. With several titles available on Netflix there are plenty of options for those newer viewers. Let's take a closer look at just three of the very best Coben dramas on Netflix,...

Steven Knight has penned a series about the Guinness family and it has just begun production. More on the project below.
Lately, Steven Knight has been busy prepping the upcoming Peaky Blinders film which is due to start filming this September, but it looks like the British writer has had time to work on other things too.
Netflix has announced today that a new series, titled House Of Guinness, has gone into production with Knight credited as writer, creator and executive producer. As you might guess from the title, the series will look at the family behind one of the world’s most popular breweries.
Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O’Shea, James Norton, Niamh McCormack, Seamus O’Hara, Jack Gleeson, Dervla Kirwan, Michael McElhatton, Danielle Galligan, David Wilmot and Hilda Fay will star in the Netflix series, but the streamer hasn’t provided a release window for House Of Guinness quite just yet.

True Detective: Night Country has been an atypical season of HBO‘s crime anthology for numerous reasons.
For starters, this fourth season is the first to receive its own subtitle, with “Night Country” capturing the pervading darkness of northern Alaska. Night Country is also the first True Detective season to not feature the involvement of original creator Nic Pizzolatto. Stepping in as showrunner is indie auteur Issa López who grafted her own vision of two female detectives solving an icy mystery onto the usual True Detective format. The biggest difference between Night Country and a “normal” season of True Detective, however, may only becoming apparent to folks this week as episode 6 marks the sudden conclusion of this story.
That’s right: unlike seasons 1, 2, and 3, True Detective season 4 features six episodes rather than the usual eight. That should come as either devastating news to viewers just getting into the case...

This post contains spoilers for the fifth episode of "True Detective: Night Country."
A lot is going down in "True Detective: Night Country" at the moment, as the mysterious Tsalal fiasco and the unsolved Annie K murder have been proven to have closer ties than ever before. With a ton of leads pointing towards dead ends, detectives Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) finally made a breakthrough after cornering Otis Heiss (Klaus Tange), a drifter who drew the map for the ice caves before 1998. Thanks to the efforts of Officer Peter Prior (Finn Bennett), Danvers links the fate of Anders Lund with that of Heiss, whose corneas burned and ears ruptured after a terrible mining accident years ago. When Danvers finds Heiss, he utters the phrase "Night Country," and hints at how it might be an actual space linked to the horrifying events in Ennis.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for True Detective: Night Country Season 4, Episode 5, “Part 5.”] True Detective: Night Country took some insane turns in the final moments of its fifth episode, which brings viewers one step closer to solving the mystery behind Annie K’s (Nivi Pedersen) murder and the deaths of the Tsalal Scientists. After getting caught on camera crossing the borders of Silver Sky Mines territory, Detective Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) was given a strong warning from Connelly (Christopher Eccleston) to stop pursuing answers surrounding the scientists and Annie K. He also shared the official death report for the scientists, claiming it was an avalanche that took them out, but Danvers isn’t convinced, especially having learned that Tsalal’s research and the mines were so closely linked with pollution stats possibly being compromised along the way. (Credit: HBO) Meanwhile, Silver Sky Mining Company’s Kate McKitterick (Dervla Kirwan) has an interesting exchange with Hank (John Hawkes), telling him ...

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers from “Part 5,” the fifth episode of HBO’s “True Detective: Night Country,” now streaming on Max.
Poor, wrong-headed Hank — with his broken “90 Day Fiancé” heart, and his thwarted dreams of being police chief — is dead. And by the hand of his son, Peter, no less.
At the end of “Part 5″ — the penultimate episode of creator Issa López’s “True Detective: Night Country” — investigators Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) are about to defy direct orders. In the episode’s final moments, they’re heading off on a New Year’s Eve quest to find the caves where Annie Kowtok died — to try to solve her murder, as well as the mysterious deaths of the Tsalal scientists.
But the scene that preceded that coda was the most pivotal of the series so far.

Finn Bennett and Jodie Foster in ‘True Detective: Night Country’ episode 2 (Photo by Michele K. Short/HBO)
HBO’s True Detective: Night Country, season four of the award-winning anthology, began with the mind-blowing discovery that an entire research team just up and vanished, leaving food on counters and a DVD playing back at the Tsalal Arctic Research Station in Ennis, Alaska. Episode one introduced Academy Award-winner Jodie Foster as Ennis Police Chief Liz Danvers and Kali Reis as Alaska Trooper Evangeline Navarro, who will be – reluctantly – teaming up to figure out what happened to the researchers, a disappearance that Navarro believes is connected to the cold case of a local activist and midwife who was brutally murdered six years ago.
Episode two kicks off with Liz and Officer Peter Prior (Finn Bennett) examining the researchers’ frozen bodies, which were discovered outside of town at the end of the season premiere.

With just a few days until the 2023 Oscars, hot contender The Banshees of Inisherin has been given a boost on home soil.
Martin McDonagh’s period tragicomedy — which has nine Academy Award nominations (an all-time Irish record) — has now landed the most film nods this year for the Irish Academy Awards.
Announced by the Irish Film & TV Academy (IFTA), Banshees has 11 nominations, including best film and, as with the BAFTAs and Oscars, the film has been nominated in all of the performance categories for its main cast of Colin Farrell (who also got a nod for supporting actor for The Batman), Brendan Gleeson, Barry Keoghan and Kerry Condon. While skimming Netflix's thriller collection, you might have come across a new British series called The Stranger. Created by Harlan Coben, the show includes mystery, intrigue, and, above all, family drama between an interconnected group of people - it's Love Actually . . . but make it murder. The show starts with a stranger who tips off Adam Price (Richard Armitage) about his wife's fake pregnancy. The stranger (Hannah John-Kamen) pops up routinely, blackmailing people about either their indiscretions or the indiscretions of their loved ones. Soon, Adam's wife Corinne (Dervla Kirwan) goes missing. Each episode, the story zooms out to give us a fuller picture. Here's how the twisty threads of the series unwind by The Stranger's ending.
What Happened at the Rave?
Let's briefly touch on the kids, who don't have much to do with the main plot, except that Detective Johanna Griffin (Siobhan Finneran) initially investigated their case before the murders.

Much of Netflix's The Stranger is ridiculously immersive.
The television series -- based on Harlan Coben's book of the same name -- apparently differs in some major ways from the source material.
But not having read the book myself, the adaptation is a terrifically winding road of deception and heartbreak.
So much occurs in the series, it's ridiculous to try and keep it all straight.
But the skillfull tying together of all the twisty knots is an all-enveloping and charged experience.
The premise places a blackmailing stranger -- played by Hannah John-Kamen -- at the core of controversy, as she attempts to eradicate lies and expose secrets for money.
She has a pained passion for executing these exposures with her business partner, Ingrid Prisby, played by Lily Loveless.
The domino effect of the first reveal on The Stranger Season 1 Episode 1 slowly builds into a catastrophic entanglement of many lives,...

The following contains major spoilers for Netflix's The Stranger and comes from Den of Geek UK.
Harlan Coben's 2015 novel The Stranger is a story to give pause to anybody who thinks that an incognito tab or a fake online username will keep their secrets. Barring the most sophisticated spook tech, whatever an ordinary person does online is traceable to someone, somewhere. In Coben’s novel, that someone is the titular stranger, a revealer-of-wrongs who sets off a devastating chain reaction when they spill family secrets.

Richard Armitage, Siobhan Finneran and some oddball elements elevate this very serviceable mystery thriller…
This is a spoiler-free review and comes from Den of Geek UK.
Secrets! Everybody’s got ‘em. Sordid little lies tucked away behind incognito tabs and fake online usernames. Maybe you diddled your expenses or your mortgage application or your son’s clarinet teacher. Let’s say you robbed Peter to pay Paul, then knocked Peter over the back of the head with a golf club and fed his remains to Paul’s pig. Whatever foul canker you’ve shoved so far up inside your folds nobody could ever find it, you’d better hope that you don’t get a visit from the Stranger.
