Born in Brooklyn, New York, Robert's family moved east on Long Island
to Suffolk County. After high school he joined the Marine Corps and
served in Vietnam. After the service he returned to Long Island and
spent the next 20 plus years in law enforcement and raising a family.
While still on "the Job" he began studying to be a physical therapist
but was bitten by the acting bug and after retiring he started
appearing on local stages. Eventually getting into film, he started
appearing as an extra on shows like Law & Order and other major
productions being shot in and around the New York area. Once worked as
Drew Barrymore's bodyguard.
