"I am not the one who is getting married! She is!" Netflix has unveiled a fun trailer for a romantic comedy called Irish Wish, the next Lindsay Lohan romcom from the streaming studio after Falling for Christmas in 2022. When the love of Maddie's life gets engaged to her best friend, she puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Actor Ed Speleers explains: "This world, this sphere of filmmaking comes very naturally for [Lindsay Lohan]. She has a great approach to the work and is very much in tune with her comedic bones. This was my first out and out rom-com, and to team up with Lindsay and film in the stunning Republic of Ireland felt like the perfect way to venture into this genre." Lindsay Lohan stars with Ed Speleers, Alexander Vlahos, Ayesha Curry, Elizabeth Tan, Jacinta Mulcahy, and Jane Seymour. Once again, it looks like some Hallmark Channel rubbish,...

Lindsay Lohan once body-swapped with Jamie Lee Curtis on Freaky Friday.
Later this year, she’ll swap places with a bride-to-be as she searches for love in Netflix’s Irish Wish as part of her two-film deal with the streamer.
The streaming service unveiled the official trailer this week, and it looks like a marked improvement on her previous effort, Falling for Christmas.
Lohan plays Maddie on Irish Wish, a young woman who is shocked when the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend.
Harboring feelings for the man who could have been hers, Maddie has to put them aside to be a bridesmaid at the lavish ceremony in Ireland.
Just when it seems like Maddie is resigned to not having the love of her life, she makes a “spontaneous wish for true love,” according to the press release.

Be careful what you wish for, especially when you’re in Ireland.
Lindsay Lohan’s new Netflix rom-com suggests what could happen in the official trailer released Tuesday. Set to “Breathless” by The Corrs, the Netflix feature promises a love triangle and switcheroo along the lines of “Freaky Friday” without the body-swapping.
Lohan’s Maddie reveals to a stranger on the bus that she’s in Ireland for a wedding — not her own, but her best friend’s. The thing is, her best friend Emma (Elizabeth Tan) is engaged to Maddie’s longtime love Paul Kennedy (Alexander Vlahos).
“I can’t help but think that things would be different if I had told Paul how I felt,” Maddie tells her mom over FaceTime while sitting on a beautiful Irish hillside. When her mom (Jane Seymour) tells her she needs to start speaking up for herself, she remarks, “It’s too late now.

"There's a better life waiting for us." Samuel Goldwyn Films has released an official trailer for the sci-fi psychological thriller called Identicals, from director Simon Pummell, and it looks pretty damn cool. At least, it has some amazingly cool visuals that I really dig. Is it actually a good film? Well, I don't really know, I'm not so sure. Starring Lachlan Nieboer, Nora-Jane Noone, Nick Blood, Tony Way, and Jacinta Mulcahy. The film, originally called Brand New-u, is about a futuristic company called Brand New-u that allows people to create a brand new life using other people known as "Identicals" as some kind of surrogate. Obviously, not everything is going to go as planned. Watch the new trailer below and tell us what you think. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Simon Pummell's Identicals, in high def from Apple: The organization Brand New-u identifies networks of Identicals—people who walk like you,...
