Andrew James Nelson

Re-recording mixer of many films directed by Steven Spielberg, Michael Mann and Alan Parker.

As of 2025, he has contributed with the re-recording mixing of 20 films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: In the Name of the Father (1993), Schindler's List (1993), Braveheart (1995), L.A. Confidential (1997), Saving Private Ryan (1998), The Thin Red Line (1998), The Insider (1999), Moulin Rouge! (2001), Seabiscuit (2003), Munich (2005), Avatar (2009), War Horse (2011), Les Misérables (2012) Lincoln (2012), Bridge of Spies (2015), Hidden Figures (2016), La La Land (2016), The Fabelmans (2022), Elvis (2022), and Wicked (2024). Of those, Schindler's List (1993) and Braveheart (1995) are winners in the category.

He was awarded the Australian Centenary Medal in the 2001 Queen's New Years Honours List for his services to Australia society and Australian film production.
