In an interview with Cokie Roberts for "Nightline," she stated that she will undergo a double mastectomy after genetic testing revealed a predisposition to breast and ovarian cancer, both of which she inherited from her mother. She wants to have children within the next five years, sans father if necessary, then have her ovaries removed.
