Hairstylist Maria Sandoval started her career early, attending beauty school while still in her final year of high school. Upon graduation, she turned her sights to filmmaking and attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in hopes of pursuing a career as a writer/producer. Maria ultimately found balance between her two loves-hair styling and filmmaking- as a stylist in the TV and film industry in Los Angeles, California.
Maria's resume includes productions such as: Pirates of the Caribbean, Medium, Star Trek: Picard, and Mad Men, where she was awarded a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Hair styling. Maria's most note-worthy job and highlight (so far) is as Hair Department Head and designer on the TV series, The Mandalorian and its spin-off series, The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka. She was also nominated for Emmys for Star Trek: Picard and Seaon 2 of The Mandalorian.
