Monica Bedi born on 18 January 1975 in Hoshiarpur Punjab, India, moved with her family to Norway in 1976, where she lived until 1991 and pursued her education in 1992 she studied English Literature at Oxford University.
Monica began her acting career with the Telugu film Taj Mahal 1995, which was a commercial success. She soon debuted in Bollywood opposite Saif Ali Khan in Surakshaa and worked with renowned actors like Govinda, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, and Dharmendra. Notable films include the comedy hit Jodi No.1, She also gained fame through reality shows like Bigg Boss 2, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3, and Desi Girl, and released a spiritual music album with Universal Music.
In 2012, Monica entered Punjabi cinema with Sirphire and later starred in Romeo Ranjha. She received critical acclaim for her performance as Ghuman in Saraswatichandra 2013-2014, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production aired on Star Plus.
