- Fell on stage once and danced with Captain Beefheart and his magic band.

- In 1975 Lindsay Anderson offered Mark a job as his assistant at the Royal Court Theatre, but Mark declined as he wanted to continue his work as an actor. He was then auditioned by Jon Ploughman to work at The Court as an actor and was offered work, but Equity declined this as he was at the time not a full member of the union.
