Kelly Elsas is an American actress and model located in Los Angeles, CA. Originally born in New York, the New Jersey native has lived internationally in Australia and the UK. Elsas has made appearances in Investigation Discovery's Death By Fame and set to play a vital role in an upcoming contender for Sundance Film Festival. She is set to be featured in a number of projects released this year including two upcoming films for Lifetime TV and has made an appearance in latest season of DAVE on FXX.
The rising star started her journey behind the camera, obtaining a Master of Fine Arts degree in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy Los Angeles in 2021. During her first year in her program, she placed at the Indie Short Fest and won multiple awards, including Best Female Director in July 2019 at The Independent Short Awards.
After spending the last couple of years in Los Angeles dedicated to the film industry, Elsas made the switch from behind the camera to on-camera work and expanded her repertoire as a model and actress. After six months of intensive acting training, Elsas has already booked a number of noteworthy projects in the film and television industry with no plans of slowing down. One of her earliest projects included portraying The Voice star (S6), Christina Grimmie, in Season 1 Episode 3 of Death by Fame. When asked what her favorite projects are; she responded "dark and riveting high-octane arthouse" projects. She believes the most captivating characters have great challenges and depth. She was recently featured in Medium's Authority Magazine in an interview titled, "Rising Star Kelly Elsas On The Five Things You Need To Shine In The Entertainment Industry."
Outside of expanding her film and television rolodex, she continues to be heavily involved with a number of dog rescues as well as organizations who work with children and teens that have dealt with sexual assault and human trafficking. She has big plans to use her platform to be the voice of the voiceless.
