Saba Hailemariam

Saba Hailemariam is an active Canadian TV personality and actress of Eritrean descent, fluent in English and Tigrinya (official language in Eritrea).
She graduated from Mount Royal University in 2008 with a broadcasting diploma and in 2011, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in communication, majoring in journalism with a 4.0 GPA.
Saba has worked in television and newspaper as a reporter, writer, editor and producer. She has hosted numerous community events in Calgary, Alberta over the past fifteen years and acted in many commercials.
Saba has worked for some of the top networks in Canada, such as, Global and Shaw TV. She ultimately advanced to CTV Calgary as host and producer of their entertainment programs, holding main creative control for five years. Shortly, thereafter Saba launched her own YouTube channel, where she shoots, hosts, produces and edits everything herself. Saba now resides in Los Angeles, California and has found success as one of the AfterBuzz TV hosts and landing commercial roles.
