As of 2023, Weston is a AAA game senior animator living in Colorado. Weston graduated in 2013 from Animation Mentor, earning a diploma in Character Animation and later, one for VFX. He received training at AM by professionals from Pixar, Disney, Dream Works, Industrial Light & Magic, Reel FX, and others. At AM he obtained an in depth understanding and appreciation of animation. After graduation additional training, for example, from AnimSquad (Disney Feature Film Tutors), was taken to sharpen his skills.
Starting in November of 2014, Weston became an animator for Disney Interactive at Avalanche Software in Utah. There he contributed to the Disney Infinity Game platforms.
Beginning in 2017, Weston began animation and cinematography at Cryptic Studios on the AAA game Star Trek Online where he has expanded his abilities to include rigging, modeling, motion capture, and cutscene development. Weston is the senior / lead animator for the Star Trek Online game produced by Cryptic Studios.
