Kraven the Hunter is hitting the big screen, and there are a few things to know about this character!
The Sony Spiderverse has been…let’s be charitable and say “hit and miss.” There has been the success of the Venom movies but also the disasters of Morbius and Madame Web. However, Sony is still trying to make it work, with their latest Spider-Man effort being Kraven the Hunter. It’s an intriguing character with a rich history, so here are a few things to know about the movie before it premieres this December!
He’s one of Spidey’s oldest foes
First appearing in Amazing Spider-Man #15 in 1964, Sergei Nikolaevich Kravinoff was introduced as the world’s greatest big game hunter. Bored of taking down just about every animal there was, Sergei took on the name Kraven to hunt Spider-Man, who he saw as unique prey. He was notable for...

Nowadays, the concept of the multiverse has become part of the pop culture lexicon, mostly due to Marvel and its attempts to usher in the age of multiversal storytelling with its superhero movies. The process really began Sony and Marvel's "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" back in 2018, then picked up with 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home," before Marvel Studios itself picked up the baton and ran with it for 2022's "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" — a movie that tried to distinguish between different timelines with distinct designs for each, but which ultimately felt like it didn't quite hit the mark.
Meanwhile, Marvels' rival, DC, also tried its hand at introducing audiences to the multiverse with some ill-fated projects such as the superheroic box office bomb that was "The Flash." Still, by the time "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" debuted in 2023, the concept of multiple universes that collide with one another was well-established.

Tickets for Kraven the Hunter officially go on sale tomorrow, and might just be accompanied by a final trailer for the movie. For now, Sony Pictures has released two TV spots featuring some action-packed new footage.
The teasers include more of Aaron Taylor-Johnson's vengeful beast-man doling out violent justice, and we also get a couple of shots of Kraven scaling a wall in much the same fashion as a certain Friendly Neighbourhood Webhead.
We're not sure if this is a deliberate nod to Spider-Man, but either way, it could end up being the only reference to the wall-crawling hero in the movie. A recent rumor claimed that Spidey is not mentioned in the film, and there will be no post-credits scenes.
Check out the new spots at the links below.

Spider-Man: Far From Home had one of the most shocking endings in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! How did it unfold to lead to other big projects?
As this 2019 movie begins, the MCU is still getting used to “The Blip,” the five-year period between when Thanos “snapped” half the universe into dust in Avengers: Infinity War, and when everyone was restored in Endgame. That means Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and his various “blipped classmates” are all still in high school again.
Peter is still mourning Tony Stark as he takes part in a class trip to Europe. Nick Fury then recruits him to aid Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), who claims to be a hero from an alternate Earth fighting massive Elemental creatures who destroyed his Earth’s heroes and are now targeting the McU's Earth.
Peter and Mysterio get along well, and Peter also reveals his identity as Spider-Man to Mj (Zendaya). Eventually,...

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are ready to once again collaborate on Spider-Man 4. After the success of the third film in the franchise, Spider-Man: No Way Home, nobody can blame them for that. A roaring success that brought back the two previous Spider-Man stars (Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield) and united them on-screen with current Spidey Tom Holland, the 2021 movie made nearly $2 billion at the box office and brought the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man trilogy to a crossroads: Should it carry on, or should it bow out?
The truth is that they went for the middle ground. Spidey's light-hearted high school "Homecoming" days are over and a brand new, mature trilogy will begin focusing on Peter Parker being a Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man in a much bigger neighborhood: New York City. That being said, given that this is the Multiverse Saga, there are expected to be some Multiverse mayhem moments in the upcoming film,...

Kraven the Hunter will be here in no time but will he be joined by Spider-Man? At this point, we no longer expect the web-slinger to show up in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (which is admittedly bizarre) but a definitive answer has just found its way online.
According to reliable runtime and trailer leader @Cryptic4KQual, there is no mention of Spider-Man in Kraven the Hunter. The movie has been described as "standalone," though that same labelling didn't stop Madame Web from introducing Peter Parker as a baby.
At the very least, we'd imagined the movie ending with Kraven heading to New York City to hunt down a "spider," though the response to that would have likely been largely negative given the disdain many fans seem to have for these spin-offs.
Perhaps the biggest surprise is the fact Kraven the Hunter reportedly has no post-credits scenes. Even without a Spidey tease,...

Marvel Animation's Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is coming to Disney+ next January, and before it does, we'll be able to swing into some new Spidey stories in a special prequel comic book series written by Marvel veteran Christos Gage and drawn by rising star artist Eric Gapstur.
Set during the teenager's earliest days as Spider-Man, the five-issue limited series introduces a young Peter Parker, his supporting cast, and some of the hero's legendary villains.
The animated series will take place in its reality and we now see that this rookie web-slinger will face off with The Enforcers, a trio first introduced by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in the pages of 1963's Amazing Spider-Man #10. They haven't changed much in terms of appearance and this should be a fun clash. Whether they appear in the show as well remains to be seen.

Sony’s Spider-Man Universe hasn’t been faring too well since teaming up with the MCU. Don’t get me wrong, Spider-Man’s standalone movies within the MCU have been an absolute triumph, swinging from one spectacular hit to the next. But let’s be honest, Sony’s left holding the bag of Spidey villains, and while Venom has been a surprisingly successful antihero, the rest hasn’t exactly made the leap from potential to profitable.

It’s fair to say the franchise started with promise but now teeters on the edge, with Venom as its lone, tragic figure desperately trying to keep the spark alive.

Spider-Man 4 may just be the most anticipated movie on the release schedule. It's definitely one of the most anticipated, and it certainly is at home in that group (among other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies like the upcoming Avengers films). There is no doubt that it will be one of the biggest movies of 2026, and MCU fans are ready to see what it has in store for them.
When we last caught up with Tom Holland's webslinger, he made the selfless choice to allow all of his loved ones to forget that he exists in order to save the world from multiverse threats that looked to destroy it simply because they knew that Peter Parker was Spider-Man. He's now fighting to protect those in need in the streets of New York City as something of a lone warrior. But still, he's their Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

Following the events of Blood Hunt, Doctor Doom is Sorcerer Supreme and one of his first mandates was tasking Spider-Man to be the new champion against the eight scions of Cyttorak in "8 Deaths of Spider-Man."
Spearheaded by writer Joe Kelly and artist Ed McGuinness, this exciting and unusual Spidey saga is currently unfolding in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man, starting with last week's Amazing Spider-Man #61. Today, we have a look ahead to February's instalments: Amazing Spider-Man #67-68 and a special bonus tie-in issue, Amazing Spider-Man #68.Deaths.
Marvel Comics hasn't disclosed why, but Justina Ireland and artist Andrea Broccardo will be taking over creative duties for these issues, with Christos Gage and artist Mark Buckingham in charge of that tie-in.
Whether Kelly and McGuinness will be back after that is hard to say, particularly as the publisher has yet to announce Amazing Spider-Man's permanent creative team following Zeb Wells and John Romita Jr.'s recent departure.

Here’s why the Spider-Man suit disappointed Tom Holland (Photo Credit – Instagram)
When Tom Holland first slid into the iconic Spider-Man suit, he expected to feel like a superhero. But instead, he was disappointed. Why? His suit wasn’t ready, so he had to borrow his stunt doubles. And guess what? It didn’t fit. At all. “It wasn’t quite as heroic as I would have hoped,” Tom said. “He was much bigger than I was. So when I wore the first Spider-Man costume, it was kind of baggy and saggy around the face and stuff.” It was not precisely the Spidey debut he had in mind.
But here’s the twist: Tom was still living the dream despite the suit being slightly off. The kid who always felt too small—especially in rugby class—was now part of the Avengers. And that’s a flex. Tom grew up feeling out of place.

The upcoming Spider-Man 4 will contain another major crossover – if a press release published by Sony Pictures Japan is to be believed…
Following the huge commercial success of Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021, a number of reports suggested that Sony and Marvel were at loggerheads regarding the creative direction of the title character. Marvel reportedly wanted Spidey’s story to continue with a street-level fourth instalment and all of the signs at the end of No Way Home pointed in that direction, from the unveiling of the classic costume to the paring back of the series’ supporting cast.
Sony, presumably overjoyed by the film’s almost $2bn worldwide theatrical gross, was said to be keen on reprising the film’s crossover success, bringing back multiple Spider-blokes and continuing to probe at the multiverse – something that has served the studio well with its animated Spider-Verse films.

In recent months, we've been bombarded by conflicting reports about Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' plans for Spider-Man 4. Despite initial reports about a street-level story featuring Daredevil and Mayor Wilson Fisk, Venom: The Last Dance changed the narrative.
After the final trailer introduced Knull, God of the Symbiotes, it was soon reported that the plan was for Spidey and Venom to team up for a battle with the King in Black.
The Venom threequel did little to dispel the notion and certainly didn't set up the crossover either. Now, a Sony Pictures Japan press release might have inadvertently confirmed plans for Tom Holland and Tom Hardy to finally share the screen.

Tom Holland Tears Up After Spider-Man: No Way Home Premiere (Photo Credit – Instagram)
So, Tom Holland broke down after the Spider-Man: No Way Home premiere, and it wasn’t just because of the hype. The actor was spotted tearing up during a fan interaction right after the LA premiere, and it’s way more profound than just a regular emotional moment.
It was December 13, and after strutting down the red carpet with Zendaya and the whole No Way Home crew, Tom was heading to his car. But as he passed the fans waiting outside, he hit pause. Just as he walked up to chat, the emotions got real. The guy wiped his eyes, said a few words to his fans, and quickly took off. But yeah, those tears? Unmistakable. Fans caught it all on video, but what exactly were his words? Lost in the chaos.
So why the tears? Simple.

Uncanny X-Men was undoubtedly the best comic book of the week. It was a shining example of amazing writing (Gail Simone) and artwork (David Marquez) coming together to deliver the absolute best combination imaginable. It was so good that it deserved its own article (you can read it here).
But Uncanny X-Men wasn’t the only comic book worth reading. This week, Marvel and Skybound / Image Comics dominated the best of the week. And thus, let's dive into them!

Marvel Studios did what many thought was impossible in 2012 by assembling Earth's Mightiest Heroes in The Avengers. A sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron, followed three years later before the stakes increased exponentially in Infinity War and Endgame.
With the end of the Multiverse Saga rapidly approaching, this era of storytelling will be capped off with Doomsday and Secret Wars. Beyond that, the plan is reportedly for the MCU to be softly rebooted, likely leading to recastings and the X-Men and Fantastic Four calling the Sacred Timeline home.
But what of The Avengers? We're sure they'll still have an important role to play and, in this feature, we're exploring the way the franchise can evolve in a new MCU. From new locations to the type of stories being told and the team's place in this shared world moving forward, we have a lot of thoughts on where they go from here.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 Pitch Faced A Surprising Twist From Marvel ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
We’re shaken when Tom Holland spilled some juicy behind-the-scenes Marvel tea. It turns out that one of his pitches for Spider-Man 4 got the big ol’ Marvel veto. Why? Because Kevin Feige and the gang were already using the idea in Captain America: Brave New World. Yep, even Spider-Man has to wait his turn in the MCU sandbox.
Holland opened up on the Rich Roll Podcast, saying, “I’ll come up with an idea, and they’ll say no, you can’t do that because we’re doing that in the new Captain America movie.” But no hard feelings here—he thinks it’s “cool” how Marvel has everything mapped out like a superhero Gps.
Now, back to Holland’s web-slinging saga. The guy’s been killing it as Peter Parker since Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017. His last outing,...

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is no stranger to cameos. Right back to the very first Iron Man movie in 2008 (when Nick Fury appeared to Tony Stark in a post-credits scene) has the franchise mastered the art of the cameo, with some of the world's biggest superstars - and the world's most iconic superheroes - making important appearances throughout the 34 movies thus far.
From the set-up of a future installment to the debut that audiences were waiting for, Marvel Studios knows how to do a cameo. They have been particularly fun in the franchise's ongoing Multiverse Saga, which has featured surprise appearances from legendary actors who previously appeared in various movies or TV shows based on Marvel Comics characters.
Look no further than Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which saw Patrick Stewart return as Professor Charles Xavier, John Krasinski finally play Mr. Fantastic Reed Richards, and Hayley Atwell bring Captain Carter to live-action.

Spider-man 4's Working Title Has Been Revealed And It's Generating Some Major Gwen Stacy Speculation
Despite rumblings that Spider-Man 4's shooting start date could be delayed, the movie now has a working title.
The Cosmic Circus has learned that the Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures co-production is being shot under the name "Blue Oasis" with Blaze Film, Inc. being used as its production company. What, if any, significance does this working title have?
Well, Spider-Man: No Way Home was dubbed "Serenity Now," so we wouldn't put too much stock in any theories you see floating around.
However, the site has correctly pointed out that the Blue Oasis colour bears a striking resemblance to the imagery used in Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale's critically acclaimed Spider-Man: Blue comic book series. The series revisited the story of how Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy met and fell in love, and with Spidey reportedly heading to college, it's possible he'll finally meet Earth-616's Gwen in Spider-Man 4.

It's been nearly three years since Spider-Man: No Way Home arrived in theaters. Now, the world is eagerly anticipating the release of Spider-Man 4. Though Peter Parker's next MCU installment seemed uncertain for a while, the follow-up to his multiversal adventure appears to be well on track. First, it was revealed that Destin Daniel Cretton, director of 2021's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, would be helming the film. Then, an official release date of July 24, 2026 was announced for the project.
Overall, things seem bright for the wall-crawler. However, if a new rumor is to be believed, it seems fans could end up waiting a little longer than expected for Spidey's latest outing. Speaking on The Hot Mic podcast on November 14, Jeff Sneider revealed that, while he initially expected the untitled Spider-Man 4 to start shooting mid-2025, he has now heard the movie could be facing both...

While Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have finally confirmed plans for Spider-Man 4 (with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton at the helm), everyone wants to know what's next for the wall-crawler.
There continue to be conflicting reports about plans for the movie and The Cosmic Circus has just shared some possible new intel. According to the site's Alex Perez, the plan is still for the alien costume to play a role in the Multiverse Saga.
He believes that will eventually lead to Knull and theorists that Peter Parker will die and be brought back by Spider-Man: No Way Home's Symbiote, creating a new Codex that brings the King in Black to Earth-616.
Beyond this Saga, "the idea is to go back to basics. They want to have that Devil’s Reign storyline play out in a Spider-Man film." In other words,...

There have been rumours about a World War Hulk (or World War Hulks) movie for at least the past couple of years. Recently, we heard that the plan now is for Mark Ruffalo's Smart Hulk to evolve into the villainous Maestro, potentially giving that movie its big bad.
Throw in the fact we've recently met She-Hulk and The Leader's role in President Ross becoming Red Hulk in next year's Captain America: Brave New World - oh, and Abomination's trip to Kamar Taj - and there are enough players on the board to make this event a reality.
Of course, there are always more Hulks.
In this feature, we take a look at six of the most exciting possible additions to a World War Hulk movie, regardless of the direction Marvel Studios takes the story in. Whether it's another evolution of Bruce, Hulked-out heroes, or key supporting players, there's a good mix here.

Marvel Studios has gone through a lot of Spider-Man's villains very quickly. Homecoming used The Vulture and Shocker, while Far From Home put Mysterio front and centre alongside "Elementals" clearly based on the likes of Hydro-Man and Molten Man.
Then, in No Way Home, Tom Holland's web-slinger battled Variants of the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Lizard, and Sandman. Where does this leave Spider-Man 4? Well, if recent rumours are to be believed, Peter Parker will team up with Venom to battle Knull, God of the Symbiotes.
However, Spidey still has plenty of bad guys we'd like to see on screen and this feature singles out six villains we'd rather have showcased in filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton's addition to the popular MCU franchise. We also explore the types of stories which can be told with the characters.

Tom Hardy discusses his commitment to a Venom and Spider-Man crossover. (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Tom Hardy isn’t just Eddie Brock—he’s on a mission to make Venom cross paths with Spider-Man. And he’s serious about it, saying he “would do anything” to get his symbiote anti-hero on-screen with Tom Holland’s Spidey. Imagine the energy: Venom crashing Spider-Man’s world. Fans? They’ve been waiting for this showdown.
Let’s take it back a bit. Spidey’s been through some ups and downs on the big screen. After the iconic Sam Raimi trilogy, The Amazing Spider-Man tried to revive things, only to stall out after two films. Then Sony teamed up with Marvel Studios, giving Spider-Man a fresh reboot and placing the character’s fate in the hands of a new kid on the block: Tom Holland.

Tom Holland shares struggles while playing Spider-Man. (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Playing Spider-Man was a game-changer for Tom Holland, but slipping into the iconic suit wasn’t as heroic as it looked on screen. Holland faced unexpected challenges, from battling dehydration to managing the suffocatingly snug fit of Spidey’s high-tech ensemble. The quirks of his costume even made drinking water a logistical nightmare, forcing the actor to devise clever solutions to stay hydrated.
Holland shared this amusing behind-the-scenes detail, revealing that he needed a “tube contraption” just to get a sip of water while filming. He said, “Basically, my eyes in my mask, they clip off because they’re glass… and I put a tube, a squeezy tube, down into my mouth, and then I can drink from a bottle.” It was a wildly intricate setup for something as essential as staying hydrated. “It’s an interesting contraption, to say the least,...

In today's Amazing Spider-Man #61, a new creative team - Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness - take charge of for the new story arc, "8 Deaths Of Spider-Man."
The Marvel Universe's latest Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Doom, approaches Spider-Man and tells him that a young Doctor Strange struck a bargain with the immovable Crimson God Cyttorak to use his Crimson Casket as a means of protecting Earth from supernatural threats.
However, Strange had to agree to besting the Eight Scions of Cyttorak, the restless, spoiled Godlings eager to prove themselves worthy of their father's throne, on a yearly basis. The hero found a loophole by arming himself with the Sacred Reeds of Raggador, meaning that if he fell, he'd be repeatedly reborn...in other words, he'd never lose.
Doom is too important for such a menial task and assigns Spider-Man to be his champion. Peter Parker has no other choice than to...

Blade might be off the theatrical calendar, but Marvel Studios Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige has exclaimed that the studio is “committed” to the project.
The reboot of the Wesley Snipes franchise was announced at Comic-Con 2019 with Oscar winner Mahershala Ali in the title role. However, there was a rotation of directors in Bassam Tariq and Yann Demange with a script that didn’t pass muster per Marvel. Mia Goth was also attached to play supervillian Lilith in the vampire slayer feature.
Feige’s statements were made in recently to the Brazilian entertainment website Omelete.
“We love the character, we love Mahershala’s version of him. And rest assured: whenever we change direction with a project, or are still trying to figure out how it fits into our schedule, we let the public know. You’re up to date on what’s going on. But I can tell you that...

Earlier this year, we heard that Mysterio was being lined up to make an appearance in What If...? season 3. Considering the complicated nature of Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' deal to share Spider-Man, it didn't seem overly likely.
Well, as you can see below, Mysterio appears in the first trailer for the show's final season and is hooked into an extremely dangerous-looking device.
Spider-Man: Far From Home came along before the Multiverse Saga began, introducing Quentin Beck, a Multiversal warrior whose home had been destroyed by monstrous Elementals. He was later revealed as a fraud and a disgruntled former Stark Industries employee eager to get his hands on the recently deceased Tony Stark's tech.
However, the fact he gave the MCU the designation of Earth-616 raised some eyebrows as did the fact his comic book counterpart once found a way to hope between the main Marvel Universe and the Ultimate Universe.

Ever since Marvel Studios got into the television business, courtesy of the Disney Plus streaming service, fans have been theorizing about which characters could headline their own TV shows. So far, we have seen the likes of Wanda Maximoff, Vision, Loki, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Echo, and Agatha Harkness all star in their own adventures. But there are more on the way and audiences couldn't be more excited to see who the Marvel Cinematic Universe chooses to spotlight next.
The X-Men got the spotlight on the small screen too. It might not have been part of the MCU, but X-Men '97 was one of the most anticipated shows that Marvel Studios ever produced - the first through their Marvel Animation banner. Stan Lee Reportedly Didn’t Like Tom Holland’s Casting As Spider-Man Casting In The Beginning (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Stan Lee, the comic book godfather who created Spider-Man, wasn’t exactly on board with Tom Holland swinging into the role of Peter Parker. Yup, you read that right. The man who birthed Spidey wasn’t sold on the youngest and arguably most charming version of the web-slinger. Let’s just say Stan wasn’t shy about throwing a little shade, either.
James Gunn, director of the Guardians of the Galaxy films, casually dropped this gem during an Instagram Q&a. When he introduced Stan to Tom Holland shortly after the latter’s casting, Stan did the thing Stan did best—he cracked a joke. According to Gunn, Stan looked at Tom and said, “Yes, of course! I have heard that you are amazing! Personally, I don’t see it that way!

Marvel Studios is laying the groundwork for the grand finale of its Multiverse Saga. Now, there are still a lot of movies to come out before we get there, but the new plan is in motion as the studio looks to create a Marvel Cinematic Universe moment much like it did with Avengers: Endgame. That moment will likely come in Avengers: Secret Wars.
The direct sequel to Avengers: Doomsday and the likely conclusion of the Multiverse Saga, it is expected to have the titular team of MCU heroes unite with heroes all across the multiverse in a bid to stop the dangerous Doctor Doom (who will be played by MCU legend Robert Downey Jr.). Fans are predicting that it will rival the iconic showdown between The Avengers and Thanos in Avengers: Endgame that brought about a close to the Infinity Saga.
That will no doubt be a moment in cinematic history if it does happen,...

It was a pretty darn quiet weekend at the box office as most studios seemingly wanted to either A) avoid competing with the election or B) wait for greener postures offered by the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday window. Either way, it created a situation where Sony's "Venom: The Last Dance" was easily able to top the charts again with a relatively solid $26.1 million estimated second weekend haul. That's good for the studio in the short run. In the long run? It presents Sony with a quandary that they're probably going to need to address sooner rather than later.
As of this writing, director Kelly Marcel's "The Last Dance" has pulled in $90 million domestically to go with an outsized $227 million internationally for a running total of $317 million worldwide. After two weekends in theaters, that's not bad for a movie with a reasonable $120 million budget. "Reasonable" is a relative term in this arena,...

The influence of Western comics on Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia has always been evident. All Might’s illustrations are often portrayed in the Western comics art style, and the mangaka has admitted his love for comics on more than one occasion.
My Hero Academia itself is full of references to Western superheroes. The series’ influence from Western comics and homage to them is probably one of the many factors that led to its overseas popularity.

The creation of All Might gave Kohei Horikoshi the idea to sprinkle in American comic elements and references in My Hero Academia. However, the author’s love for comics began in 2002 with the release of the first Spider-Man movie in the Sam Raimi trilogy. In an interview, the author was asked if he saw Spider-Man as an extension of Japanese ‘special effects heroes.

It’s the final week of the month meaning that there aren’t a lot of new releases. Does that mean there aren’t any good comic books to pick up? Of course not! Marvel Comics and Boom! Studios have you covered.
As always, let’s start with the pick of the week.
Amazing Spider-Man No. 60 (pick of the week)Writers: Zeb Wells and Joe KellyArtists: Ed McGuinness, Mark Buckingham, Paolo Rivera, Patrick Gleason, Todd Nauck, and Alessandro Cappuccio
This is the final issue of Zeb Wells’ run. Love it or hate it (and I loved it), but it was consistently purchased and talked about every month. But everything must come to an end. In this finale, the story will lead into the next Spidey tale, The 8 Deaths of Spider-Man.
This is an oversized Amazing Spider-Man that will likely have conclusions to most of Zeb Wells’ storylines. Will Mary Jane and Paul stay together?...

Here’s why Tom Holland was born to play Spider-Man (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Homecoming returned Peter Parker to his high school roots—awkward, love-struck, and balancing algebra with web-slinging like a true teenage superhero.
Forget billionaire Tony Stark or godly Thor—Peter Parker’s the ultimate underdog, and Tom Holland knew how to nail that vibe. He once said, “It’s not easy to relate to Tony Stark. But everyone’s gotten tongue-tied around a crush.” And boy, did he walk the walk! The moment when Peter saves his crush, Liz (played by Laura Harrier), from freefall and then awkwardly tries to recreate the iconic upside-down kiss? Priceless. Of course, this time around, Spidey’s thread snaps before he even gets the chance to smookissgh school romance, right?

Stone’s got the final word for everyone, hoping for a Spider-Gwen surprise. “I don’t know if I’m supposed to say anything, but I’m not [in the movie],” she alluded to MTV News. And with that, another rumor bites the dust.
No Way Home has been a whirlwind of fan theories, with fans expecting every Spidey face possible—Tobey, Andrew, villains, and maybe even Aunt May’s pet dog. Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2? He’s in. But Gwen Stacy? Nope. Stone said her goodbyes to The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, calling it an “exceptional experience” that she’ll always feel “protective” of. And yes, we still think about the rooftop chemistry between her and Andrew Garfield.

Rumors surrounding the next installment in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man IP have been quite erratic so far. While some suggested that the MCU might lean towards a more grounded story for Holland’s Peter, other reports alleged that the Cinematic giant is once again going for a multiversal epic.

According to one alleged leak, it seems the latter might be more in line with MCU’s scheme of things, which hasn’t sat well with fans, as most have been craving for a story that takes the character back to its roots.

Marvel fans have been waiting a long time for any updates on Blade, the iconic vampire-slaying, katana-wielding antihero who carved his place in pop culture with Wesley Snipes’ unforgettable portrayal in the late ’90s and early 2000s. Blade didn’t just introduce audiences to a lesser-known Marvel character; it set a darker, edgier tone that stood apart in the superhero world and paved the way for more mature comic book films.

Now, over two decades later, Marvel is finally set to revive the character for the MCU, and fans have been on edge since Mahershala Ali’s casting was first revealed at San Diego Comic-Con in 2019. But Blade’s return hasn’t exactly followed a smooth path, production setbacks, creative changes, and an ever-shifting schedule have left many wondering if Marvel Studios would really bring this project to life. Did Tom Holland Find Out He Was Cast As Spider-Man Through Instagram Even Before Getting A Call? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Tom Holland found out he was Spider-Man in the most Tom Holland way possible—scrolling through Instagram in bed. That’s right, he didn’t get a dramatic phone call or even a heads-up email. Nope. One lazy scroll, and there it was—Marvel casually announcing him as the next Peter Parker. His reaction? “I went ballistic, like absolutely nuts.” Who wouldn’t?
It sounds wild, but even Holland wasn’t sure it was real initially. After all, Sony had been hacked around that time, and the internet isn’t exactly known for its reliability. But Marvel wasn’t messing around. They announced his fate to the world before telling him directly. “I have to be honest, Kevin,” Holland told Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige when he finally called with the news.

Shortly after we learned that Marvel Studios planned to revisit the Man Without Fear for a new Daredevil Disney+ series, a pretty far-fetched rumor that Tom Holland's Spider-Man was set to make an appearance did the rounds online.
More reliable sources would later report that, although Spidey would not be swinging by in person, the iconic Wall-Crawler would get a mention.
Following the release of the first teaser (see below), we may know exactly how Spider-Man will be referenced in Born Again.
If you'd rather not know anything about the scene in question, here's your spoiler warning.
According to Mttsh, Wilson Fisk gives a speech after being elected Mayor of New York, encouraging the citizens to move past relying on heroes who "dress as a spider, a devil, or a psycho vigilante with a skull symbol" to save them.
Yeah, that's it!

Comic book movies are facing an interesting moment. Before the pandemic hit in 2020, nothing seemed to guarantee a box office hit more than putting a Marvel logo in front of a movie. Even DC had $1 billion hits with "Aqauaman" and "Joker" in and amongst the chaos of trying to figure out the DC Extended Universe. Sony Pictures also found a potential goldmine within the larger "Spider-Man" franchise with the release of 2018's "Venom." That movie made a shocking $856 million worldwide and paved the way for further spin-offs centered on Spidey side characters. The whole experiment was kind of a disaster, but among the rubble of that disaster is a potential lesson for those in charge of the future of superhero cinema.
