Stéphane E. Roy studied at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) in Drama. He was part of the comedy group Les Bizarroïdes 1990 to 2000, group sacred revelation of the Just for Laughs Festival in 1994.
In theater, Stéphane E. Roy writes and performs, among others, in several theater work's including the successful Mars and Venus, Me, Myself and I, Ils se sont Aimés and the Capitulation.
On television, it has been seen in many TV series such as Camera Cafe, Cauchemar D'amour, Le Plateau, Max Inc. Ooops !, Réal-IT and Les Bougon and services for emission as a columnist as Les Quatre Cents Coûts Télé-Québec, Deux filles le matin Sucré et Salé on the TVA network.
In 1991, he founded the League of Montreal improvisation, experimental improvisation league. In 2001, he created literary Cabarets - The Sunday Authors, he runs for 6 years, evening where authors compose and read a text on a given theme.
In October 2007, in Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil, returning from a working session with the two comedians Ben and Jarrod, Stéphane E. Roy was seriously injured in a car accident. He quickly deliver; a few days later, one sees indeed in a humorous capsule Cas Roberge webcast.
In 2008, we can see his work as a director in a new series of humorous show with the duo Ben and Jarrod, broadcast Super Screen (registered at the Corona Theatre in Montreal a few days before his accident). He co-wrote and starred in the film Le Cas Roberge alongside Sébastien Benoît, Jean-Michel Dufaux and Benoit Roberge (film based capsules broadcast on internet).
In 2009, he produced for Canal D humorous eight one-hour programs with Ben and Jarrod duo. In 2010, he received two nominations in the category "Best Comedy Series" at the gala Adisq and the Gala des Oliviers for his directorial work on the soft time.
In 2012-2013 he played the role of Martin in the romantic comedy: They loved. In 2013, he published Mars and Venus, interactive play at Playwrights editor.
In 2016, he plays, directed and co-wrote nine, the film adaptation of his play Nine variations on empty, with nine other directors: Ricardo Trogi Erik Canuel, Micheline Lanctôt is a habitual, Luc Picard, Éric Tessier Jean-Philippe Duval and Claude Brie1. He also directed several advertising campaigns [ref. needed] and sign the staging of the play of Sylvain Larocque, in the eye.
