Lisa Santonato is a creative producer, actor, director, and writer with twenty+ years in digital media production. Her primary strengths and areas of expertise include writing, producing, and directing digital content, with a focus on shooting and editing video and photography. As Director of FTP Media Inc., Lisa has produced online videos for a diverse range of clients across the arts, culture, education, and environment sectors. She also provides content development services via The Northern Scribe.
Lisa holds an Honours B.A. in Cinema Studies and Anthropology (Social, Cultural, Linguistic), with a minor in Environmental Anthropology (University of Toronto). She is enrolled in the Faculty of Graduate Studies' Master of Arts program in Cinema and Media Studies at York University, and will complete her MA thesis by early 2018.
A trained actor with a natural on-camera presence, Lisa has starred in several short independent films and two feature-length films shot in Toronto. Expect to see Lisa Santonato appear in Love in the Sixth, written, directed, produced by, and starring, Judith Klassen, with Mika Kay, Wendy Sinclair, T.C. Folkpunk, Brett Butler, Jason Butler, and Shay Steinberg, along with a host of star performers including Mikela Jay, Dennis Trainor, Collette Savard, John Lefebvre, John Doyle, and Les Stroud.
