Born a Pisces, it's no wonder I am naturally intuitive and creative...so much so that's how I write!
I'm a 'Psychic Writer'...I write via clairvoyance and clairaudience - basically, 'I write what I see and hear'. My screenplays are a result of 'taking dictation' (for the most part). Many times I'm simply a fly-on-the-wall watching a story unfold before my fly-eyes...and typing what I see. (Hmmm??? Is this some sort of sci-fi, thriller-ish, dramedy in the making????)
I've been writing screenplays since 2003, started out writing features. I tried to read some books on 'how to write a screenplay' but one was too discouraging and intimidating but one stated 'the script writes itself'...and so I set out to see if they would occur.
IT DID!! For me, there is a concept, after which I may receive 'additional information in the form of characters, their descriptions and histories', and then a story unfolds...FADE IN:
TRUE STORY: "Her", started out as a short comedic screenplay about sleepwalking - that was MY intention. It became a dramatic PSA about mental health. So yeah, in my case, the script really does write itself.
To date, I've written over eleven features and fourteen shorts. My directing began in 2020 when I wrote, produced, and directed "The Cough (A Covid-19 Comedy). I am new to Directing and love what I love about it...still, I'm a Writer by nature.
