
Exclusive: Premiere Entertainment Group has picked up international rights to the satirical comedy Nuked, starring Justin Bartha (The Hangover) and Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect). Premiere will be shopping the pic to international buyers at AFM.
The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and follows a group of friends who gather for a birthday party at a lavish remote estate free from cell phones and children only to learn of their impending deaths as a nuclear missile is headed their way. The 2024 Tribeca Festival has added 11 new feature films to its lineup — including a Hannah Einbinder standup special from Max — and has also set a world premiere of Michael Sarnoski’s A Quiet Place: Day One on June 26 in partnership with Paramount Pictures and Imax just ahead of the film’s theatrical release. The red carpet event is for Tribeca members as part of the organization’s push into year-round programming. It’s after the festival, which runs June 5-16.

Patrick Wang and Vanishing Angle announce don Tuesday that Tyne Daly, Janeane Garofalo, James Marsters, Nana Visitor, and Brian Murray have joined the cast of double feature project A Bread Factory (Parts One and Two).
